- Somerset, KY, USA

This place offered to sell a teacup yorkie to us for 500 dollars, to ship it to us was another 300 dollars for a total of 800 dollars. They claimed they shipped it by air. Supposedly it landed at the Richmond Airport in Virginia and they gronded the puppy saying it needed to be in a different kind of carrier and i was suppose to send 1445 dollars for shipping unsurance and the cost a soft sided carrier. Thetly said i would get refunded 1300 dollars afterwards. It was just a scam to try to get as much money as they could, but i did not do it. They will not answer any calls, text or anything

Offered puppy. Bought puppy. Gave tracking info, contract/dales agreement, multiple pictures and videos. No puppy. They wanted another 1500 for the company Pets Air Carriers to have special crate before they would ship. Gave multiple email addresses, phone numbers and 2 different bank accounts to wire transfer to.

Wagner Aronoff states he is a breeder and will speak on the phone with a thick accent. I purchased a Siamese kitten he then shipped it through logistic Express and another person with thick accent stated they needed up to 1500 for a proper crate, I realized it was a scam when I questioned what’s your address? can I have a crate delivered to you? This person also knew who I was when he picked up the phone “oh hello mam your calling about the Siamese kitten” , he also did not take cards only cashapp, Zelle etc…

- Hopewell Junction, NY, USA

They asked for a deposit upfront to reserve the puppy. Sent pictures and video when requested. The Facebook post has been up for years and they have pictures and video of puppies for adoption. They would send video but without sound. They said they’re from New Jersey but not say from where exactly.

The had the website up om google acting as a cat breeder for siamese cats and i had an inquire about the cat they had listed for available and they made me sign a sales agreement with my address and signature also asked me to send money via ZELLE from my bank to proceed with them dropping the cat off at the airport , once they "dropped" the cat off at the delivery service named "logisticsexpresswayshipping" a fake one and they proceeded to email me with request to pay for and extra transportation crate that regulated the cats temperature and ensured their safety. The fake breeders then proceeded to say they forgot to mention it and then the shipping compant called and said its my full responsibility for the cat now and they asked for more money for the crate which they asked for to make a payment through ZELLE again which i proceed thinking i didnt want the car stuck at the airport. After then they asked for another payment of 1500 on top of the 1910 they already scammed me for then thats when i tried to called the fake breeders and never got an answer or text and the shipping company continued to try to ask for the money which i then said "i feel like i lm getting scammed" because of the extra money over been having to pay and they immediately hung the phone up on me and niether of the two have the fake cat breeders website or the shipping company ever answered my calls , emails , or text ever again i was scammed , PLEASE have the website TAKEN DOWN ! They still have the website up and are still trying to scam more people

My partner and I were looking to adopt a great Dane puppy. My partner found www.waltsgentlegiants.com and we looked through the website. Found a puppy we wanted contacted the seller. They emailed us with more pictures of the puppy and information regarding the process they asked for our full names, phone number and address they told us to send the payment to Milton Stewart (872) 463-3284 via Zelle. Once we sent the payment, they sent us an email confirmation from air animal pet movers with a link in the email that our phone flagged as a virus. I called the air animal company and they told me we had been scammed.

- Emmaus, PA, USA

On July 5, 2020, my fiance and I came across the website www.mastiffplace.com which advised they have Neapolitan Mastiff puppies for sale. We filled out the inquiry and was contacted by email and text message about the puppies. We were informed the puppies were $800 a piece. We advised we were interested and they sent us additional photos along with a sales agreement (notarized by a Brian Clements of NC), sales contract, and application. We decided to go with 2 (Kakado and Ginger) and they agreed to do 2 for $1500. On July 6, we were told to send the payment using Zelle to Zelle Handle: [email protected], Name: Delphine Richmond. The money was transferred and I requested a paid sales receipt to which one was provided. They then stopped responding. When I questioned their lack of response and when we would receive the travel information, they finally contacted us again and advised they would send that Saturday. They even advised us what dog food they were feeding them. On Saturday we received the travel information (Alpha Pet Movers www.alphapetmovers.com) to which it advised we needed to contact them about a carrier. My fiance and I started looking hard into these two companies as things were feeling not right. Alpha Pet Movers wanted an additional $1480 for special travel crates and $2000 for insurance. We did not pay anything additional. We found both companies on www.scampulse.com to which this has occurred to others. No puppies were ever sent or received.

I tried to purchase a French bulldog and I wanted additional pictures and video. He finally called me to validate he was a serious merchant and I was hesitant when he asked for the money upfront I said I want to pay half now and the other half when I meet the dog, I said I would like a picture now and he said if I give you a picture and video now I want the full payment.

Saw puppy on line. Reviewed pictures and video on line of puppy. He then sent me a contract to sign . He signed Jeffery George Stowe. Asked payment via bank transfer, Chime or google pay. My bank told me to call him to confirm before I sent the money only to find out the phone number is disconnected.

Seller claimed the raised and sold Shih Tzu so I placed the order and then I received confirmation that the dog took ill and need to be transported into another crate which would cost me 1395 refundable when I reached out to them no one responds now. Shame on them

- Fulshear, TX, USA

Used scammer website to engage on puppy information. Scammer sent a text and then emails with photos and videos of puppy. Scammer provided details on puppy transport. Scammer sent a contract which I signed. I then sent money via Zelle.

The next morning I realized puppy was still listed on website. I did more research and realized a scam was listed in Australia. Scammer claimed from Cody Wyoming.

Once I realized the potential contacted scammer and said I would report, send photos or have a call with puppy. They said they would but never got back to me.

Reported to my bank on Zelle transfer, FTC and BBB.

- Kutztown, PA, USA

The scammer was attempting to sell Boston Terrier Puppy’s. PayPal flagged the transaction. Indicated suspicious activity.

- Lexington, KY, USA

Seemed all legit. Lots of good explanations on shipping, asked for vet, how I'd respond if puppy destroyed article over $100, had I ever had a puppy. Sent contract and returned. Sent payment link for credit card. When I asked for Pic with today's date and the puppy, the conversation stalled.

- Parrish, FL, USA

We spent a week trying to process the payment. All forms of payments were denied processing (zelle, Venmo and credit card). Every time different accounts with different names were used. I thought it was bad luck until I found other complaints online.

- Gaithersburg, MD, USA

Sheltie puppies for sale, beautiful posed photos. Asking for deposit, pressuring for my personal contact information to “file paperwork and arrange delivery”. Price of puppy is $600, he seemed confused because I said I wanted 2. Wants my information and he will send ApplePay request. I told him I had not set up my debit card and he wanted a screenshot of the message. Many grammar errors, not answering the questions with proper grammar.
