Hi scammers have a website advertising puppies. When asking for pics they send the same ones on the website. I asked my friends to inquire on different dogs and they all got the same generic example word by word about different dogs but all same age. Also, when inquiring about visits or other forms of payment they refuse to respond and just ask to zelle full amount

Mr. Leon contacted me on ny email after I requested info about Hops (the red Maltipoo puppy on his website). At first all communication was super fast and efficient. He sent me a Sales Contract. He said he receives payment through Zelle. I asked for a Facetime/video chat before payment. His email response sounded like he was offended and that he is from a “Christian” home and would never steal someon’s hard earned money and that I can do business with some other breeder if I don’t trust his business. I trusted him and went ahead with the payment (it was a Saturday, June 3). I did find it weird that the Zelle Payment was for a GIA JOLLY ([email protected]). But I just assumed it must be his family member, etc. Mr. Leon said he’ll be taking Hops to the vet on Monday and will send delivery information on Monday as well. During the wait till Monday, he answered my questions about the puppy and even told me whoch puppy food to buy. Then on Monday I did not get any responses to my email the entire day. I tried calling all the ohone numbers that were associated to him but none of them worked. I was panicking as I was realizing I may have been scammed. Then I finally got one short email saying that he was busy with the puppies and that the vet check was done. But he said shipping information will be sent tomorrow mornibg (June 6). I did not receive any shipping information from Mr. Leon in the morning. All I got this afternoon like an hour ago is a suspicious looking email from a WPCARGO with a link to PREMIER PET TRANSPORTATION. There I found another name written as the sender (LEON GEA) I called the phone number recorded on the Premier Pet Transportation website and got connected to a PAUL LANGI who did not sound like business agent at all! I asked where my pet was exactly, he said in transit and that I need to be patient. I still have not heard from the supposed Mr. Leon Nepote (as written in the contract) and have no maltipoo puppy.
SCAM-FRAUD ALERT! I assume it's the same creeps that just change the name weekly/monthly. This time it was Leon's family maltipoos. Email is Leonfamilyus.com
They would not provide a facetime video of the pup or a time stamped photo. You can always do a reverse look up of the photo online as well. The sales contract is all BS and same for the references.
Do not zelle, apple pay or paypal a dime to these horrible people.
They say they are so called "Christians"..but they are nothing but thiefs.
Maltipoos for sale online under $1000 are most likely a scam.

Was emailed questions of my experience with dogs then sent sales contract to sign transferring ownership. Then a venmo payment was set up ans that was all normal. Then I was contacted a few days later by a pet shipping company with a tracking number. This showed the puppy arriving the same day rather than in 2 weeks like we had discussed. The seller apologized for their error and said the dog was already in transit. A few hours later I recieved an email saying the dog was in a quarantine facility in Las Vegas and that a different type of crate was needed in order to finish safely transporting the puppy. This didn't make sense to me so I started asking more questions and thats when things started to unravel and become convoluted. I told them via email that this seemed like a scam and i wanted an address of where the dog was being held or a current photo and they said "they weren't authorized". At this point i was well aware rhe transport company was a scam. I tried calling the phone number provided by Leon's and it was blocked.

Site advertises as dog breeder of purebred chihuahuas the dogs are not purebred or akc as stated on site provided false DNA embark tests also after i tried to reserve a puppy from the site filling out application with personal information since I didn’t provide deposit within seconds of them accepting my application they stopped responding to my emails after having questions as I needed to time to verify the kennel and updated the site to remove the puppy i wanted . the site does not live or stand up to what it claims it seems to be fabricated no one answers phone or returns texts emails after numerous attempts I had my colleague call and they answered said wrong number. Very sketchy and unethical dishonest people behind this. They just expect people to send them money via Zelle to think their reserving puppies they don’t have and then disappear. Very upsetting for people who are wanting puppy to take home. I am Lucky I did not send them the deposit.

Found MarshallDoxie.com through web search to purchase a dachshund by the name of Stella. Sent via Zelle a down payment of $500.00 before realizing it was a scam. They requested an additional $300.00 for the remaining balance. Prior to sending the additional money we did a web search as MarshallDoxie scam and found multiple hits and results stating that it was a pet scam. All communication with the company was via text messaging at (248) 289-7963. I've reported this incident to the FTC and to my bank.

I contacted them when I saw some puppies for sale online. They emailed me a contract with all the relevant information about the dog. I checked the website, I checked the name of the business and everything to make sure there were no scams pertaining to this business. After the contract was signed, I sent them $900 for the cost of the puppy & shipping, and they emailed me back saying I would receive tracking info. I then received an email from a business called Premier Pet Transportation with the tracking info for the dog. I also received an email later on in the day that said I needed to upgrade the puppy's crate, and they tried to get another $1000 from me. At that point, I realized that I had probably been scammed, and stopped the communication.

I contacted Lester from his website lesterhomes to adopt a nine-week old maltipoo puppy. I have never bought a puppy from out of state but his website seemed credible and the reviews seemed reputable. We got in contact over gmail where we discussed the payment process. We called on the phone only once, but he seemed to be normal and genuine. I was told that the overall fee for the maltipoo puppy would be $900 (700 for the puppy, 200 for the shipping). I was then given a contract to sign that confirms that I will take care of the dog, get her checked up at the vet days within her arrival, and also be refunded the money if I were to receive her late or not receive her at all. I signed and sent the $900 over Zelle. Unfortunately, that should’ve been red flag number one. After payment, I was told she’d be ready to ship in two day. Two days later I was contacted by the pet transportation company WPCARGO Premier Pet Transportation. I was given a tracking number to track the order on their website, premierpettransportation.com. Everything went smoothly until I was emailed from the shipping company that an urgent crate replacement for the dog needed to be replaced, unfortunately I fell for the excuse they gave about the weather conditions and the original crate not being well ventilated, and paid the money they request, 1,050 over Zelle. I was told that I would be refunded with a 75 percent reduction once she arrives to the final destination. Then an hour later I receive another email from the same company requesting an unexpected vaccine fee they had to give the dog because of her age and her exposure to other animals in the plane. $700 with a promised refund. It was only until the last email they sent me that requested an insurance payment before for $500 was I smart enough to step back and realize I’m being scammed. There was no dog and the designated airport had no affiliation with the pet transportation company. I have all the emails and transactions through Zelle saved and screenshotted

We had a small group of people, including my mother and a family friend, that were interested in purchasing a few Maltipoo puppies for ourselves, and after searching around we stumbled upon the website in question, https://darryl-family.com/. It's a fairly well put together website, so everything looked really good initially. They had pictures of various dogs on their site and were fairly good in terms of communication. After some back and forth, we decided to go ahead and push through with the deal, and three deposits were put down on three dogs, $350 each for a total of $1,050. All of the deposits were made through Zelle. We set a date and time to go pick them up, and from there everything seemed well. We drove from Colorado to Cody, Wyoming, about an 8 hour trip for us, early in the morning, and ended up at the address that was provided by this breeder. We went up and rang the bell, and after a brief conversation with the homeowner realized that this wasn't the appropriate address. We didn't jump to any conclusions initially, but after numerous calls and texts were either ignored and the realization that one of the numbers provided was no longer in service, we came to the conclusion that we were scammed.
We had searched the name Darryl's Maltipoo Family before any money was provided, and we didn't receive any negative hits or anything suspicious about them at that point. During our drive back though, we dug into the reported scams in Cody, Wyoming and saw that there are quite a number of dog and/or puppy related scams reported in the area. All of the scams that were reported had a lot of similarities with our personal experience:
-Located in Cody, Wyoming (Not sure about all of them, but a big chunk of them were reported specifically in zip code 82414, including ours)
-Regular communication, though usually in odd hours of the day
-Requested payment through Zelle or Google Pay
All of the websites that people reported all seem different as well. Based on some in depth research on BBB, I would assume that there is a group of people that are just making these websites under different names until they get caught, and when they do they just dump the site and start over with a new one.
I would implore anyone reading this to assume that ANY event involving purchasing an animal in Cody, Wyoming is a complete scam, unless otherwise proven by yourself.

I was looking for a puppy for my daughter and came across this website https://paquinfamily.com/ selling Maltipoo puppies. The website seemed legit, so I reached out and the supposedly owner reached back out with information about the puppy. He told me what dog food to purchase, signed a contract, and then set up for the puppy to be flown here through Premier Pet Transportation. I did have to Zelle $900 to him, which should have been a red flag as the name on the Zelle was Luke Silverman and he called himself Mr. Paquin. I got one email saying the puppy was pending delivery and then a few hours later I received another one saying it was on hold due to needing an electronic thermal crate. That’s when I started looking on the internet about this and found the same website homepage picture as this one, but with a different name. I tried to reach back out to both the “breeder and transporter” and heard nothing back!

Wallace Family Multipoo is a family owned - small breeder who has an elaborate website and adorable underpriced puppies. They also have puppy training classes and lots or references of happy customers as well as a “meet the parents” tab. After you get through their on line application they send you a contract and you send it back and decide on shipping or pick up. We chose shipping and they gave us an estimate on shipping of $250 - to our door. We send the money via Zelle or money order. Then they send us the shipping info and tracking and date of delivery. On the day of delivery we get an email from the shipping company that there was a problem. Puppy was I. Vegas but the crate was not safe and they need a $1500 refundable deposit to complete the safe shipping of the animal. They only accept Zelle. There was a phone number and several back and forth conversations with the shipping company. We emailed the breeders and they said that was atypical and requested we worked with the shipping company. The breeders refused to call us. We said they had to correct the shipping problem. And it has been radio silence since. Their website is still up and running with the same pup available.

After I paid the scammer said $750 for the teacup poodle but then she kept adding on doctor visit, transportation, Kennel cost
delivery and said it would be refundable. Even though I paid everything and waited for hours for
delivery. She would call
and say I has to pay
another $250 which I foolishly paid. That the delivery person would say she can't bring her the next day. Then she would say she had to charge me another $250 because she had to feed and take care of the puppy. This went on, and on and on. I never got the puppy. When I asked for all my money back she said No that they did a lot of work taking care of the puppy and it was a waste of time. And they needed to get paid for that. MY bank could not help me because it was through zelle. I am disabled and I have 3 kids with special needs. The puppy was for them. This has put a hardship on me and by boys. I am still suffering financially and need my money back. Please help me. I can't even get in touch with Facebook.

Contacted company via email to buy a puppy. Asked questions and got replies. Noticed some odd spellings and the way the sentences were structured. Didn’t think too much about it. Red flag!!! Was presented a contract. Agreed to it and signed it. They then sent a Venmo request. Had explicit directions like say “I love buddy” in the description. They asked for friends to see purchase in my feed to be turned off in venmoe. Another red flag!!! Then sent a confirmation email saying f they would contact shipper the next day. We never heard from them again. Even tried different email addresses to try to get them to reply to someone else buying another dog. They never replied and were we out $1000 and no dog.
