I purchased a dog that was supposedly to be shipped to me through ace transport and logistics. I had to pay money upfront, which I did once I paid that they came up with another excuse that I needed a special kennel then I needed insurance then I needed to chip the dog and then I needed to get permits from the city to ship the dog to the total of about $2100

I found the Greenfield Dobermans website online looking to purchase a 8 week puppy. They followed up via text. We spoke once…I decided to move forward. They sent contract…I sent a deposit. A few weeks went by…then they requested the full balance so they could move forward cropping and docking their ears. I paid. This week the puppy was supposed to get delivered. But after being requested a few hidden fees…the courier service tried to charge be $1500 dollars because the crate that was used wasn’t approved by the airport…but on their website they do these shippings all of the time…and said the shipping crate would come with the amount a paid. It was at that point, I realized I was being scammed…when I refused to pay, the breeder said it was no longer his problem and I would be given a refund…and they would not allow me to have someone go get the dog directly from them.

This person said they were a Newfoundland breeder/rescue. I thought I was adopting a puppy that needed to be rehomed. On the day of delivery I was notified via text that I need to pay a refundable $700 crate fee and then 3 hours before her expected delivery (when they were already supposedly 3 hours into the drive) I was notified that I need to pay a $1500 “refundable” transport insurance fee. They asked me multiple times for my “Apple cash history”, as did the “shipping company”. 45 minutes before our expected delivery, it was obvious the puppy hadn’t even left Buffalo and probably didn’t exist. After I refused to pay the insurance fee there were multiple attempts asking for Apple Pay history and then I was asked to “just pay $200 more dollars”. We never got the puppy.

I contacted the family kennel club to purchase a puppy. The website said the were a breeder with alot of experience in successful breeding and shipped the puppies with a doggy nanny on a plane and would deliver the puppy to my door. When it came time to talk about the form of payment, that's when things got weird with the person i was in contact through in email. When asked if they would talk on the phone they stopped all contact and my emails were no longer going through

This is a fraudulent dog webstie. I do not believe this woman has any dogs, and had me pay for a deposit and then wouldn't give me any updates on the puppy and then ignored my calls for days. When i said i wanted to back out and wanted my money back after we signed a contract, she essentially told me no and hasn't responded to me since.

I saw a website for a puppy. They emailed the information for how the puppy would be shipped to me. They required payment. I used venmo to pay $600. The puppy did not arrive and they are not responding to email or phone call.

I wanted to purchase a Chihuahua puppy and saw Joseph Harris name many times, I decided to reach out and buy a puppy. After I paid him, we set up a time for him to deliver the puppy. On the day of delivery, he claimed his daughter was sick in the hospital and that he would send her by courier and they would reach out to me. They reached out to me and told me I would have to rent or buy a crate for her to travel in and that they would reimburse me upon arrival, they requested $600.00 to rent or $1,000.00 to buy. I finally backed out and then he threatened me that they would give the dog to a rescue, and it was all my fault. These people pray on innocent people looking for a puppy to love.

Looked online to purchase a dog and came across terryrottweiler.com, done some research and couldn’t find anything that seemed suspicious . After the initial conversation the animal in question was being purchased for $650 , at the time they ask for a $300 holding fee, well once the $300 is paid they change their numbers which is being used as an international line so within a couple of days someone that has no idea what’s happening gains that number , scammers even put you through their “cashier” and I process the payment , this website is not legit and is fake . Do not buy or send them money because you will not receive any answer back after it’s sent

- Brooklyn, NY, USA • Jul 10, 2025

This person or group is using photos from reputable cocker spaniel breeders and attempts to lure victims into paying a deposit for dogs that they don't actually own.

For example, they have a dog named Cherie listed on their website for $650, but it's really a dog in the UK found here - ********************************************************************************... The exact same photos and descriptions were used.

Wanted to buy pet snakes. I googled it, and came across the website. Communicated through whatsapp. To pay i had to zelle the money to one individual with a name and number he provided. Next day i get an email stating i had to pay mailing fees. I negociated the price down. Then, the same thing. I had to zelle the payments to another person different from the first person i zelled. Different name and number. They gave me a tracking number to follow the items in a link they provided. A few days later the link showed it was stopped at JFK airport because of insurance fees. I also got an email for the same thing. Communicated with the initial person through whatsapp. He said i had to pay for it. I decided to check the tracking link they provided. When i pressed on anything in the link it didnt have anything or it would take me back up to the top of the page. Thats when i realized i was scammed. Requested a refund and they never responded back. The website can really trick anyone. It was very well created.

I messaged the LLC business and inquired about a dog on 7/1/2025. Sent $200 deposit for a female cavapoo 14 weeks. Once I sent the money I tried several times to confirm a location and time because this business was in Long Island NY, I live in NJ 1.5-2 hours away. 7/4 was confirmed but now location and date. Day of I constantly reached out the business and it’s social media, just to be told they would no longer sell me the dog because contacting them “several time was unnecessary”. Haven’t got money or the dog.

I made a Zelle payment for doberman puppy this company never responded to. I made a complaint never receiving puppy, framed website and shipping website. These people wanted to solicit money after payment was completed alerting me to the scam. I already contacted my bank and they are investigating this situation. Please they have a full operational website that is still active.

I inquired about a dog for $300. I was replied to via text and told total would be $400 due to delivery. I sent $400 via Zelle. Then, I was told that I had to pay another $250 for dog handler and again I sent money via Zelle. I was continuously asked for more money and given different names to send money to every time. On date of delivery, the person told me that I needed to send more money because payment was reversed. I asked to see proof and the refused. They just kept telling me to send more money or they would cancel. They took all of my money and I have nothing to show for. I asked for the lawyers number that they threatened me with and they refused to provide.

https://bellamyshepherds.com is a SCAM! He used "Campbelle's Shepherd Puppies" before "Bellamy Shepherds". I looked for location information on the website, with no luck so I submitted an inquiry via the website. The website looks legit. He, "Cameron W", texted me from 615-275-8276, and carried on normal conversation. When I asked about a day to pick up the puppy, he stated he was only available on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. After that text, he claimed he needed a $400 deposit (fine, not abnormal) but requested it via Apple Pay and no other way which threw a red flag. I did not pay him due to not having Apple Pay, and kept conversation going to figure out if this was real or not. I googled the site and phone number, he scammed a male in CA out of $1100 for a dog he never received. I messaged the male on Instagram, as he posted the SAME number and same name of "Cameron" saying he was scammed with a fake puppy, confirming this is a scam.

I paid her for a German Shepherd puppy that was supposed to be delivered to my house. The puppy was never delivered, and she stole my money.

- Scranton, PA, USA • May 13, 2025

I contracted Kyle Crow about her Dachshund puppies. She sent me pictures, and I picked one. I sent the first $100 vis Venmo to RUSSO7412 Dawn Russo. The second $100 was going to Providence Shipping to deliver the puppy, however they wanted to be paid in gaming gift cards. And they wanted me to scratch the numbers off the back of the card making it useless. I told them that I would pay they $100 in cash when they delivered the puppy. They refused. We went back and forth for a week. Finally, I told them that I did not want the puppy, and I wanted my money returned. I was told that they did not have it.

They are scamming people out of their money.

- Brisbin, PA, USA • May 08, 2025

The original price was $400.00 with $200.00 shipping. Then they kept coming up with all these extra charges they needed for a crate, vaccinations, vet bills and license. I paid with Apple gift cards and a lot of times they said there wasn't any money on them
