Upon purchase on petfrisco.com via PayPal of a $4 Frisco Brand item (Frisco sells pet products at major pet retailers), I was notified by PayPal that I had agreed to a $14.88 daily charge to a Amy Cosner at [email protected].

My partner and I were looking to adopt a great Dane puppy. My partner found www.waltsgentlegiants.com and we looked through the website. Found a puppy we wanted contacted the seller. They emailed us with more pictures of the puppy and information regarding the process they asked for our full names, phone number and address they told us to send the payment to Milton Stewart (872) 463-3284 via Zelle. Once we sent the payment, they sent us an email confirmation from air animal pet movers with a link in the email that our phone flagged as a virus. I called the air animal company and they told me we had been scammed.

On July 5, 2020, my fiance and I came across the website www.mastiffplace.com which advised they have Neapolitan Mastiff puppies for sale. We filled out the inquiry and was contacted by email and text message about the puppies. We were informed the puppies were $800 a piece. We advised we were interested and they sent us additional photos along with a sales agreement (notarized by a Brian Clements of NC), sales contract, and application. We decided to go with 2 (Kakado and Ginger) and they agreed to do 2 for $1500. On July 6, we were told to send the payment using Zelle to Zelle Handle: [email protected], Name: Delphine Richmond. The money was transferred and I requested a paid sales receipt to which one was provided. They then stopped responding. When I questioned their lack of response and when we would receive the travel information, they finally contacted us again and advised they would send that Saturday. They even advised us what dog food they were feeding them. On Saturday we received the travel information (Alpha Pet Movers www.alphapetmovers.com) to which it advised we needed to contact them about a carrier. My fiance and I started looking hard into these two companies as things were feeling not right. Alpha Pet Movers wanted an additional $1480 for special travel crates and $2000 for insurance. We did not pay anything additional. We found both companies on www.scampulse.com to which this has occurred to others. No puppies were ever sent or received.

I tried to purchase a French bulldog and I wanted additional pictures and video. He finally called me to validate he was a serious merchant and I was hesitant when he asked for the money upfront I said I want to pay half now and the other half when I meet the dog, I said I would like a picture now and he said if I give you a picture and video now I want the full payment.

Saw puppy on line. Reviewed pictures and video on line of puppy. He then sent me a contract to sign . He signed Jeffery George Stowe. Asked payment via bank transfer, Chime or google pay. My bank told me to call him to confirm before I sent the money only to find out the phone number is disconnected.

Seller claimed the raised and sold Shih Tzu so I placed the order and then I received confirmation that the dog took ill and need to be transported into another crate which would cost me 1395 refundable when I reached out to them no one responds now. Shame on them

Used scammer website to engage on puppy information. Scammer sent a text and then emails with photos and videos of puppy. Scammer provided details on puppy transport. Scammer sent a contract which I signed. I then sent money via Zelle.

The next morning I realized puppy was still listed on website. I did more research and realized a scam was listed in Australia. Scammer claimed from Cody Wyoming.

Once I realized the potential contacted scammer and said I would report, send photos or have a call with puppy. They said they would but never got back to me.

Reported to my bank on Zelle transfer, FTC and BBB.

Seemed all legit. Lots of good explanations on shipping, asked for vet, how I'd respond if puppy destroyed article over $100, had I ever had a puppy. Sent contract and returned. Sent payment link for credit card. When I asked for Pic with today's date and the puppy, the conversation stalled.

We spent a week trying to process the payment. All forms of payments were denied processing (zelle, Venmo and credit card). Every time different accounts with different names were used. I thought it was bad luck until I found other complaints online.

Sheltie puppies for sale, beautiful posed photos. Asking for deposit, pressuring for my personal contact information to “file paperwork and arrange delivery”. Price of puppy is $600, he seemed confused because I said I wanted 2. Wants my information and he will send ApplePay request. I told him I had not set up my debit card and he wanted a screenshot of the message. Many grammar errors, not answering the questions with proper grammar.

FAKE dog breeder company at phone number (574) 440-6257 from India lied about being located in Woodbridge, VA. Scammers are located in India and charged me $500 reservation fee for a dog that never existed and then charged up $620 fake flight insurance and $980 for “refundable” crate rental and a city permit to deliver my puppy. They ran up my card and refused to refund on 2/1/24. Incident reported to police, FBI, and financial institution. Investigation pending. Shut down the website asap!!!

Fake website selling maltipoo puppies. When inquiring they send one video and four pictures. They ask some random questions and provide approval to “purchase” a puppy. They don’t do any live chats to see the puppies. And proceed to move forward with payment.

Pet owners across Delaware, Montgomery, and Chester Counties are being scammed out of money by Keri Diane Huhn who's doing business as Keri's Klaws and Paws. Victims come across her "services" via a Facebook group. The memebers, posts, and comments are completely skewed on her favor because there is no option to make an objective statement on this group without her approval. Furthermore, she is offering "packages" to consumers who are oblivious to her questionable business ethics, lack of communication, and professionalism. These "packages" are something like pre-pay three now, get two free. My personal experience with this "business" makes me fear for the protection of consumers:

On December 20th 2023, I reached out to make my puppy's first-ever nail trimming appointment with Keri. Her online reviews are stellar (because she has control of all memebers, posts, and comments in the Facebook group). She promptly addressed my questions and proceeded to offered dates and times that best worked for her. We set the appointment. Two days after we set the appointment, I proceeded to pre-paid the service. No answer or acknowledgement. Four days before my scheduled appointment, I sent a text to ask if there was anything needed from me during the appointment. No answer or acknowledgement. One day before my scheduled appointment around 9 AM, I sent a text to make sure the day and time still worked for her. No answer or acknowledgement! The evening before my scheduled appointment, at 6:08 PM, I picked up the phone and called. It rang twice, and then, I was sent to voice mail.

Keri finally replied to my text message at 6:48 PM that day requesting that we change the appointment time to 1:30 PM which I couldn't accommodate since I thought the appointment would happen during the morning of Sun Jan 14th. I requested a refund to which she replied "I've never had to refund anyone. You'll get it back. Have a good one" and simultaneously declined my Venmo request of $40. By January 16th, at 5 AM, I've been blocked from her Facebook Group. I have not received my refund nor a date as to when I can expect it although I've requested it several times since Jan 14th. When I asked that she refunded my money by 6 PM on Mon Jan 22nd. She said "You chose to pre pay me ahead and cancel. Not me so don't make it sound like I cancelled. I'll return it when I do. Thanks." "Now please stop harassing me for 40$".

The public needs protection from this person's scamming strategy and I am hereby imploring that you please take the necessary action.

Thank you.

We contacted via their website...was acknowledged through a text. Told him we were interested in Milo for 700. Asked about transportation and he stated he could get a Nanny for an additional $600...we thought that was very weird and definitely a scam. I looked up the address property tax record and the individual that owned the property had been arrested several times.... We told him we wanted to facetime or zoom with the dog...never heard back.
