Dr. Nils Okeson Personal Assistant Scam through School Email

I received an email through my college assigned email and it looked official cause the person used the schools logo in the email. There was an external email warning but it does that for my canvas notifications as well so I thought nothing of it. I filled out a google form as a way to apply to the job, and within the hour I got an email back asking if I wanted to proceed and have an interview. The interview was just an email of the questions and I had to reply to said email answering all the questions. The job itself was a personal assistant position for the alleged CAO of the Arby's Foundation. It was described as a paid intership that paid $450 a week. "Dr. Nils" asked me to deposit a check the emailed to me into my account, separate the $450 from what I was supposed to use to "pay bills" once the funds were accessible the next day. My mom was suspicious of it and I found a post in scam pulse describing exactly what I experienced. This all happened in one day... Dr. Nils is a real person but this was definitely not him.

I received a job offer for a personal assistant position. The scammer claimed that they were Dr Nils Okeson, and that they ran the Arby's foundation. The have a legitimate looking job offer but they asked me to makea mobile deposit for them using my banck account and my bank rejected it. And requested a physical check be sent. They sent me a check via email. And my bank told me that you can't use an email copy of a check only a physical copy can be used. When I told Dr. OKESON THAT IT didn't work, he called me a liar.
