Nationwide Business Concepts Reports & Reviews (6)

This company is a bunch of toner pirates. They prey on companies that have contracts with manufactures for toner. They will call as if they represent the manufacturer or supply the manufacturer, then get phone approval to send you toner. The invoice arrives several weeks later after the toner is in use and can't be returned. After calling the company and allowing them to do the right thing, they refused to do it. ABSOLUTE PIRATES!

Nationwide Business Concept sent two packages containg two toner cartidges in each. There is not one person in our office that knew anthing about this. There were no packing slips or identifiable information on the mailing labels on either box. These were received in March and April of 2020. Finally on May 11, we received an invoice billing us for 2 toner cartridges in the amount of $935.00 as well as shipping of $49.75 for the April shipment. From this invoice, we obtained a contact phone number which, when called, was answered and transferred to a voicemail. There has not been ONE response to numerous voicemails left to resolve this issue. The employee listed as a contact with our company is not authorized to make any purchases, and would not do so. As the packages were recieved the in warehouse, they were opened, so we are unable to "refuse" delivery. On May 14, we recieved an email for the March shipment with the same totals. We will not agree to pay for something we didn't request, nor do we even have a machine that uses that type of toner.

This is a scam type of outfit where they call and speak with someone unfamiliar with a company’s supply ordering policies and protocol, get them to order over the phone and then bill at exorbitant rates. Apparently one of our employees answered the phone when they called. The caller used their conversation with our employee as enough of an excuse to ship us something we didn’t order and didn’t want. Our employee didn’t actually place an order of any kind. This company shipped us a single box of toner - I don't know whether it is genuine or counterfeit toner - but they billed us $487.45 which is an inordinately inflated price. We are sending the item back to the 'supplier' with a copy of their statement marked thusly "Unauthorized order - WILL NOT BE PAID!"

They have sent us an invoice for office supplies that we didn't order, printer toner for $469.50. Not possible. We have a contract with a local vendor for all printer toners, and haven't ordered any elsewhere in years. This was not authorized. They have been calling our employees and harassing and bullying them for over a year now, to give them our credit card over the phone and email. Her email isn't a company address. They are demanding and rude on the phone, but won't give details of the order...because they don't exist. They are listed in the ScamPulse.com as having scammed others, with a rating of "F". They have provided a UPS delivery receipt, however, under FTC regulations, the money is not owed if I didn't order the product. This is a SCAM!

A Nationwide Business Concepts rep called our satellite office and told them the main office gave them permission to order toner from NBC, they even had the AP contact's name from the main office and lied about them giving permission to make the order. They shipped the toner and billed us. We are under a maintenance contract with a local copier business and the toner is included in the maintenance contract. Now we have an invoice from NBC that is almost $500 for 1 toner cartridge, the small print on the invoice says that all returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (which is $97). Yes, we agreed to the order, but our receptionist was tricked into ordering the toner, now because of this company's lie, we are faced with paying $97 in restocking fees.
