I was called to say I had won second prize in a lottery I had not entered. I needed to pay $7900 tax on the winnings before they would send me the money.

ON Oct. 5 2021 I received a call from a Sean Parker 202=9601829 ex 1001. He said I was a second place winner of 750,000. I told him it was a scam becaue I had contacted less than a month earlier with the same thing except it was supposed to be from Publishers clearing house. He said I would need to pay 7500 in taxes. I told him I would call him back.He said his website is WWW.thenacommission.org

My mother got a voicemail on her phone today from a Chris Martin. Said she had won $450,000 from the Gaming Commission. It said to return there call by contact them @ 1-877-396-7547- gave claim#00017540- some guy answered and I asked about the winning. He then said he has no idea what I am talking about. This is a scam! Pass along to friends & family!

I got a call from someone identifying themselves as Sean Parker with the National Gaming Commission. He told me that I had won a prize of &750,000 from a company called Sweepsco Premium and that they had tried to notify me by mail a few weeks ago about my winnings. He asked if I had received this notification. I recognized this as a scam and I told him he should be ashamed of himself for trying to scam people and then I hung up on him.

November 5th, 2020 telephone call was received from the national gaming commission agent stated his name and his phone number and his website.I was advised that I was the second place winner receiving tax-free $750,000 and would need to contact sweepstakes go premium at 702-425-8077 and website www.sweeps.premium.today to receive a code. Opposite thoughts that I would need to forward $750,000 to allied bank insurance company 347-637-661 2 or website www.alliancebankinsurance.info for the secure delivery of the funds. Opposite guys face to face pick up of the funds could not happen due to fraud and that there could be no wire transfer what was illegal to give out any personal information. Agent advised that the insurance agent would pick up the funds from Las Vegas Nevada and deliver to my home address pick me up in a minivan and transport me to a bank and that the agent would do all the talking. Also assured that there would be no media coverage and that this was completely secure but in order to receive the awarded funds that $7,500 had to be paid out to the insurance company and to claim the award. Telephone conversation was for over 20 minutes and he identified my name my telephone number and my home address no other personal information was identified nor did I provide any.

1-786-671-6779 says it's Publisher's Clearing House. The woman who answered when I called back stated so. Since then, I have called twice asking for my money. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, she's real upset. I told her she was a fraud and she hung up with an expletive.!

Called said I won $970,000.00. Had to mail $1,970 Postal Express Mail money order to James Welch in Texas. First called (866) 734-1459 to file a claim for my winnings.

I was contacted by telephone and told we won a sweepstakes, but we were required to pay 1% up front to cover insurance to have the check delivered. The prize was supposedly worth $750,000.00 and to collect we were told we had to pay $7,500.00 up front before the check could be delivered. We had been given the internet address of www.sweepsgopremium.today and told to verify our name and receive a code. The code was then used to verify by the ngcommision. We were then told to arrange a payment to Alliance Bank & Insurance to cover the insurance for delivery www.alliancebankinsurence.info After doing some research we discovered this to be a scam and are now reporting it.

I received a call on 01/03/2020 from a Shaun Parker saying he was from National Gaming and I had won 750,000 USD and the contest holders had been trying to get a hold of me for 6 weeks to no avail. It was his job to contact me and tell me the sweepstakes holder was paying all taxes,courier fees,and attorneys fees,but Pres.Trump had enacted some new bill and I would have to pay 1% of the prize which was 7500. I'm next to poverty level on disability and barely making it. He said he would talk to the bosses and see what could be done only after seeing if I could get a loan or sell something to pay for it. Preying on the fixed income individuals in criminal and pathetic.

A message was left on the voicemail of my home phone at 7:44 pm on October 25, 2019. Michelle Thomas was informing me that my name and telephone number had been randomly selected as the First Place Super Prize Winner of $18.5 million and other prizes. I was instructed to call back on a reclaim support hotline at 1-800-928-0262. When this number is called, an automated voice says, "Hello! You have reached the National Gaming Commission and Sweepstakes Operation," and gives several choices, including a fraud department, claims, etc. I spoke with a man who said he would get Michelle Thomas to call me back. She called back on November 2 and left a message saying that she was calling "in the regardance to a prize you have won, and for further information you can give me a call back at 786-671-6779." I did not succeed in connecting with the mystery woman, Michelle Thomas. The woman's voice on the October 25 recording was very different from the voice of the woman who left the second voice mail on November 2. I know there have been scams before involving a group claiming to be the National Gaming Commission, so I just wanted to report that they seem to be active again.

Told me I won $750,000 and a new car I told them it was a scam she told me she said it would be delivered today, I said it’s a scam and she hung up.

I was contacted by EDWARD JENKINS claiming to be with the NATIONAL GAMING COMMISSION under the FTC. He was supposedly contacting me for the AMERICAN GIVEAWAY NETWORK, for a prize of $1,600,000.00. He gave me a phone number, 646.992.9267 where I should contact the AMERICAN GIVEAWAY NETWORK. He also gave me CLAIM #SS21-497US by which I would be able to claim my prize. I also would have to pay $3,200 for INSURANCE & REGISTRATION, but he said I could probably get that reduced to $1,600 because I was a senior citizen. They told me to keep in contact, but I told them I knew it was a scam, and they ceased to bother me.

Gave name as Sean Parker with the National Gaming Commission in Washington, DC. Told me I had won a sweepstakes in the amount of $750,000.00 and organization running sweepstakes had been trying to reach me for six weeks by mail. The fact I had not responded to the mailings, had been turned over to the National Gaming Commission to track if I want to claim the sweepstakes or just let it go. Recognized immediately it was a scam and played along with him. Said I definitely wanted to claim the prize. He told me in order for me to claim it, I would have to contact Alliance Bank Insurance to have the prize released and the insurance company does charge a fee for their service of 1% of the winnings to release the money. He wanted to know if I would be able to handle paying the fee or if I just wanted to let the winnings go. Told him I could definitely handle it, but just wanted the company to deduct the fee from my winnings. He told me that's not how it works, that I have to pay the fee to the company to have the winnings released, that a Cashier's Check had already been made out in the sum of $750,000.00. I told him they could destroy that check and issue two checks, one to me and one to them. He again told me that's not how it works. He them gave me the address for Alliance Bank Insurance of 1107 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10128 and their number is (202)391-0387 x 1001 and to be sure to mention his name, Sean Parker. I told him I would turn it over to my lawyer and have my lawyer handle everything for me. He said he wasn't sure they would deal through a lawyer but if my lawyer wanted, he could call Sean Parker at (347)637-6612. I told him I would just have my lawyer contact the insurance company directly. He said "whatever you prefer to do, mam."

I received a call from a lady claiming to represent the above company and located in Jasper, AL. She said i won a money prize and I needed to talk to a man about how to obtain my money prize. A man by the name of Herbert Jackson came on the phone and said I won 2nd prize of 410,000.00 in some kind of a lottery. He was able to verify this from the winning number and claim number he gave me. As he continued to talk I became more uneasy with what he was saying to me. I asked him how much this was going to cost me and he gave me no answer. I told him to call someone else and give them a chance to win this money. He seemed surprised that I wouldn't go along with what he was saying. He tried to convince me to go along with what he was saying but I said good by and hung up the phone.

Explained I had entered in this contest and had won 750,000. In order to process the winning check, it had to be insured with alliance insurance company of new York. They're charged for this service was 1 percent of the winnings totalling 7500. Of course they would need their money's up front. The person's name that called was jacob Reynolds. I told him I would need to verify this info. And would not be sending any funds anywhere. He responded with look them up and call him back.

I received two calls on different days (when I was not home) from the "National Gaming Commission." The caller each time was a David Miller in the claims division. He said I won second place in an "American (something) Sweepstakes out of Nevada. I did call back today (Oct. 31) and got a voicemail telling me to leave a name and number. I did, but was skeptical.

I found your site through Google and determined this is indeed a scam, according to the ScamPulse.com website. i won't take the next call from this outfit.
