I ordered socks from this company last summer through Amazon for my plantar fasciitis. Got the socks, they were fine. A few months later I started getting credit card charges for 29.77. The name on the charge was strange and I thought it was something my husband ordered. I believe I had a total of six charges since last July. I finally asked my husband if he knew what the charges were for. He didn’t so I looked further into it. It was Nanosocks. I cancelled my credit card and filed a fraud complaint with my CU. This morning I called the phone number for Nanosocks.I was told I had signed up for a diet supplement email subscription.no I didn’t! They said I got a complimentary copy and could have cancelled at any time. So, $29.77 for an email about diets? No, sorry. So what probably happened is I started getting emails in my spam folder which I deleted because it was a scam. After I hung up with the customer service person I looked on Amazon and found the listing for Nanosocks. I went through the order process to see where they hid the diet email BS. There was nothing at all. Maybe there was something on the order accepted, shipping or other acknowledgements. It looks like they might have refunded two of the charges but I’m still out of four charges totaling $119. What an absolute scam.
