Reports State That This is a Scam

I received a check in the mail to purchases gift cards at Walmart, Walgreens, or Target. I went to the website, and saw that it reported this as a scam. I shredded everything! As always, be careful of something for nothing scams!

A fake check i received yesterday. With amount of 1820. Saying for me to cash it then purchase gift cards. Telling me to deduct $320 before i buy gift cards. I was to buy the remaining amount of $1500.00 in cards.
All the while i am to be secret shopping. Once purchased i was to peel the scratch off on the card and take a pic of front and back and keep all paperwork as i was going to use it for
next assignment . I was to email report of pics of card and answers to survey questions to [email protected].
