Luxury Diamond Resort Reports & Reviews – Page 2 (37)

Luxury Diamond Resort is a SCAM - they take your money, tell you it's non-refundable, then you read the "fine print" in the agreement after it's too late,, in addition to them making up new rules for travel as it saves them money and keeps you from using your package. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

I got a call from Luxury Diamond Resort for the $535 deal. Initially I said no and they dropped it down to $350. They knew I had done a previous timeshare trip with Hilton and they are a 3rd party marketer and that is why they were calling me which makes them sound legit. I wouldn't doubt that they could buy a list from a timeshare company. LDR is in no way associated with Diamond Resorts, a legit company, and LDR is just playing off that name. LDR has no online presence except their own website and scampulse so that makes me question their legitimacy and means they haven't been around for very long. Usually you can get a few hits on odd websites like LDR's to get a rating but not here. The person I spoke with said I could use the two trips over the next 4 years. If they've been operating for only a few months, (as far as i can tell since 8/2021) and they close shop in 6 months because they have their money, no one will be around for me to book my vacation in 12 months if I waited till then. They spoofed the number they were calling from so that is the next flag. They have a 888 number to call them but when they call you it has the same area code as your phone #. When I called the 888 number my phone gave me a spam alert. No address on the website, another red flag. I called the Hilton Grand Vacations that LDR mentioned that I had done a timeshare trip with and Hilton didn't know of LDR. It didn't feel right, and seemed to good to be true to get two 4 night all inclusive vacations for $350. I called one of the resorts and they said they don't sell vacation packages through 3rd parties and this is a very common scam.

"Luxury Diamond Resorts" IS A COMPLETE SCAM - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING WITH THEM! Customer Service Phone: (888) 333-8420 www.luxurydiamondresorts.com
I lost $450 for a 2 trip package, after they could not be contacted for months to make a reservation, they have come up with every excuse in the book why I cannot travel! First I was told the resort I requested wasn't available, then they gave me alternative dates, then I tried to book those dates and they told me the resort didn't allow singles (their website said they DID), then they confirmed me to another resort for an additional $99 for a late reservation, and then called to tell me DAYS before my very FIRST travel with them THEY HAD TO CANCEL THE RESERVATION because I had already been to a "sister resort" they did not list on their site within the prior 6 months! AFTER BOOKING MY TRIP AND FLIGHTS THEY TOLD ME RIGHT BEFORE MY DEPARTURE. Then said it was not their fault - after demanding answers and calling repeatedly, they forwarded an email where they were told by the resort in Mexico the VERY SAME DAY I MADE THE RESERVATION that I would not be able to travel BY THE RESORT and they FAILED TO LET ME KNOW until DAYS before my trip. This place is a rip-off and a SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! They have refused to give me a refund, pay for my plane ticket and said it's not their responsibility to tell me all the resorts that disqualify travel "read the fine print" - WOW! This is America - desperate and full of legit thieves POSING AS TRAVEL COMPANIES. Desperate and pathetic! I bet they make millions scamming people under Hilton's name! I wish I read this review first but confused them with Diamond Resorts (a legit comany) and it was too late before I realized they were not the same - NO RECORD of them online at all! DON'T BUY WITH THEM!

I recently vacationed with this company and had a great time in Costa Rica at the Condovac La Costa. It worked out perfect for our family my twins are 16 and most places want to treat them like adults and charge an arm and a leg in Mexico's All Inclusives. On this trip we were treated like VIPs with all the perks for the entire 5 day stay. The Customer service at Luxury Diamond stayed in contact the whole time and really made everything easy. Way nicer then the Orlando trip we took with Hilton and so we already bought another package at $535 and they gave us a second trip on the house for returning to travel with them. I'm not sure about the other reviewers experience, maybe covid played a part or they hired new customer service people, but whatever the reason we had a great time and they made everything so easy. Definately Not a Scam! I would and have recommended this company to friends and family members.

I'm sure you work for the scammers that run this illegitimate outfit. They are run under several names and the BBB has them listed with an F rating. They keep changing the name so they can continue the criminal activity. Names under this company are:
VIP Confirmations
Luxury Diamond Resort
Vip Vacations
Special VIP Offers
Here is one of the BBB sites with complaints about the business practices

They called us and mentioned that they are related with Hilton. We had booked vacation packages with Hilton before so we felt it was legit. They told us about 2x 4 nights to Mexico or Costa Rica for 535 USD. As we had done the timeshare presentation we don't have to do it again, but only have to tour the facility. We agreed and were told we get a confirmation within a few hours. A few days later we got the confirmation and immediately called to book our first trip. We booked for End of November and were told it takes 48-72 hours till we receive a confirmation. 7 days later nothing, and we were told it takes up to 7 business days (we should read their Terms & conditions). 9 business days still nothing, we called again, always excuses, we first have to sign the Terms and conditions, They send them now, and then 24 hours later we get a hotel confirmation. We never received the terms and conditions even after calling several times, never received a hotel confirmation either. Their homepage is not very professional and we now doubt if its legit. We are currently in contact with our credit company to dispute the charges.
