After signing up and paying for a 3 item order, the company attempted to auto-subscribe me for a month-to-month subscription of their service. I never agreed to a month-to-month service and only realized this had happened after they shipped me a 4th item and charged my wife's credit card. After complaining and asking for a refund, they informed me they could issue a refund once the 4th item was returned. I returned it but never received the refund. When I asked if they received the returned item over a month after sending, they said they'd issue the refund. However, when I followed up asking when they actually received the item, they said they had received it a month prior, but never issued the refund. They clearly were hoping that I would not follow up and ask the status. I attached all relevant emails here.
