I received a text message from someone named Amina ward about a parcel inspector position that I applied for on indeed. I did it the interview she said I qualified after a few questions. Then I received some phone calls and emails from a Sophia whitmore, Isabella Monroe, Elizabeth foster and a man named Jordan claiming to be my managers from different departments. The first time I spoke to Sophia and Isabella it was a woman after that a guy calls pretending to be Isabella or Sophia who are suppose to be the shipping managers at lighthouse logistics. Elizabeth Foster calls me for a promotion and trying to get me to use my credit card to purchase expensive things like gaming systems, MacBooks and other expensive stuff. I declined and did my research and found out that they seem off when you call any of the numbers they call you from back the phone has a lighthouse logistics voice mail system asking you to leave your name and number that someone from shipping department will reach out. I was given march 25, 2025 for my compensation date for my employment and everyone ghosted me. Don’t answer the calls or emails from these people they are just scamming people.

Applied for job which looked legit but doing research and talking to them, they want me to use my credit card to make purchases and reimburse me which was the line and then seen all the other reports not to sure what to do or what authorities I need to contact

I got a job as a Parcel Inspector. Lighthouse logistics started sending packages to my house and I had to inspect them then send them out to customers. They said I would get paid after 30 days of training. Then I saw on Reddit how it was a scam. Please stop them!

I was told to ship packages and take pictures. Unfortunately I fell for it but i caught on fast but the company won't stop emailing me and sending packages I already quit.

Was contacted by Ruby Ellington who identified herself as a HR rep from lighthouse logistics was told a manager would contact within 24-48 business hours with further instructions about start day… was told start day would be after speaking with manager but didn’t have an answer exact start day of training

I submitted my resume on careerbuilder.com in search of job opportunities. The first contact I received from Lighthouse Logistics was on February 7, 2025, informing me about a job interview with their company. The individuals involved in this scam include Finn Hoffman, [email protected], Lillian Hawthorne, Emma Sterling, and Ryan. They provided me with a work agreement through an employee contract to commence my role. I was informed that my responsibilities would involve shipping packages to their customers, and after my initial successful delivery, I would be paid on March 17, 2025. Following that, I was promised a monthly salary of $5,300. They also instructed me to register on their platform dashboard to monitor package deliveries and check for additional tasks.

However, when I attempt to respond to their emails, I receive a message indicating "Address not found."

The contact number provided is 313.524.9075. They are targeting individuals who are desperate for employment.

Offered a job as a parcel inspector at home. Just the job description made me suspicious. Wouldn't parcel inspection at homes delay delivery? Salary was $4000 per month plus $40 per package processed on time. Then they sent legal papers that included the assignment of an EIN. 33-2868309 from the treasury department.

Was first contacted around noon through email saying they received my resume through "employment search webpages". It then detailed the pay and work from home perk of the job. Claiming it paid $4,000 a month base pay plus $40 per package with no minimum packages delivered required. I did not see the attempted email contact until after the next contact attempt on the same day. I was then contacted via phone call by "Leighton Carter" who said she was reaching out about my application on Indeed. She informed me that this was a phone interview and it would decide if I was a good fit for the company. I was asked various questions about if I was happy with the pay and hours, if I was 18 or older, and could I receive packages at my place of residence. When I heard the pay and also the fact that I did not actually apply for this job or company I knew it was a scam. I answered yes to the rest of the questions and did not divulge any personal information besides my email which she read off to me herself. They then sent me an email with a link to the "employment process". The email also stated that if I could not access the link that I should respond to the email with the following information:

1. First and Last Name

2. Address

3. Email

4. Photos of the front and back of your valid government-issued ID

5. A selfie holding your valid government-issued ID

I then told her that I did not apply for this job and would not be clicking any links. She told me that they actually were sent my resume by Indeed instead of myself applying for it like she originally said. I challenged this reminding her she said I applied specifically. She then quickly told me she was sending an email with legal documents and links to their website to verify the company legitimacy and then immediately hung up. She did send said email but I did not bother clicking on any links or attachments provided.

This company sent me 2 packages so far and they have my information! I want to know what can I do to lock and secure my personal info..I didn’t think it was fake because I’ve been getting packages 📦 so far they’ve just been jewelry but they put my address as the sender and I changed that then they put someone else’s address nearby this is when I got curious as to why they did that!? They used an address nearby but I Tom a picture of where the package came from and I have one package that I am not sending..do I need to contact authorities? Or what do I do? I don’t know what’s going on.?!

I got a phone call they claimed they got my info off of indeed website offering a job as an inspector. They said they would send packages from different departments store and I would have to inspect products then box it up and ship it back off through fedex or ups. They wanted me to view a video then get back with me the next day. I did not give them any information because I knew it was a scam the whole thing didn’t make sense.

They signed me up and said log into the portal and keep track of packages coming in and I never received any packages. I'm supposed to receive the package and then open up to look at the contents and scan and re-ship.
