Girlfriend found cat online she liked a Maine [censored] website looked legit messaged them about kitten sent her pictures of kitten !!sent them 500$ by zelle .said they would send her tracking numbers as we live in Florida and kittens were in NY.waited and waited finally got next day said kitten would be here by 1600 .the same night I started looking up scams on internet and told her we most likely got scammed for the 500!!next day tracking numbers showed up in text messages saying it's here and there than shipping company calls saying we need ventilated crate for more money but we would get 85%back told her to have him call me as I knew it was scam by then!!keeps saying that he needs address and money why would he call me,!! Hopefully this will help other people from be scammed.
