Type of a scam Tech Support

I googled a known computer company PCEMT to inquire about repairing my laptop. I clicked on the number that popped up and explained what was wrong with the computer and asked if they were still locates on Jones Bridge Rd. The man told me they do not have a storefront any longer and are completely mobile and can come to my home. Since I had used PCEMT before and they were very reputable I agreed and set up an appointment for the next day and was told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to arrival.The next day a man showed up at my home (without notification)and I let him in. He started to look at my computer and then gave me his card that displayed Karls Technology. I told him I set an appointment with PCEMT and not Karls technology. He said he had no idea who PCEMT was. He placed a thumb drive into my computer and I made him remove it. I looked up the number for PCEMT and type in the number and called and the owner answered stating they still had a store on jones bridge and they did not receive my call the day prior. I asked the man in my house to leave immediately and it took a while to get him out of my house as I threatened to call the sheriff. I called PCEMT back and told the owner what happened and he called the number I had called and asked if they were PCEMT and they said Yes! The PCEMT owner said well that's weird because I'm the owner of PCEMT and you sent someone to my clients house thinking they were PCEMT. The person hung up on the owner. The man that was at my house states he was still going to send me an invoice for trip charge. I told him and the company I was not paying them, they fraudulently came to my home and misrepresented who they were and did not perform any services for me. I called the local sheriff's office and made a complaint as well. I was mislead and afraid of the stranger in my home and if he was going to steal my identity or data from my laptop or anything else. Be aware if numbers pop up when googling a company it might not be the correct phone number, but a number of a fraudulent company. I will not be paying the $125 invoice.
