I am still being charged $60 a month after requesting the account to be canceled. I haven't even been able to find a website for said services. How do I stop this from continuing to happen.

Thye charge 5.00 to answer a question but deceptively that is the beginning of a monthly membership charge.
I called and had both charges of $60.. reimbursed by threatening to report here what they were doing. I also told them I would go on here and give their phone number and website. I told them they need to make it more clear on their site that people are joining a membership. I threatened to take them on with my bank if i was not refuned. I was.

It offered a $1 trial run, and instead they immediately charged me $34 as well. I want my money back. It was never said that the membership for the month would be paid immediately after sign up.

Scammers charging for monthly legal services @ $60 I don't recall ordering. I cancelled the account, but scammer is still charging me.

I was scammed by JustAnswer when I was led to believe I was being charged a one-time $1.00 fee for having them provide me with an answer to a technical question. What followed were recurring monthly charges of $46.00 to my credit card account. I never agreed to a continuing membership, nor did I authorize recurring charges. I just noticed the charge to my credit card account today, then noticed that this was just the latest of six monthly charges dating back to the day last November. I called the company today to cancel the membership I never agreed to. The customer service rep canceled my membership and said my current monthly charge would be refunded in five to six weeks, but she couldn't refund the other $230.00 worth of unauthorized charges. I accused them of running a scam, and she replied that they have the top rating from the Better Business Bureau. A quick visit to your website revealed that her claim was false, and many other people have reported them for the same scam.

Searched for help with internet outage. Justanswer popped up and I thought it was part of my internet provider. Said I needed to pay one dollar to access a tech. I was charged for a month to this website, $46. They also did not solve my problem.

I was having trouble with my 2011 dodge ram truck. I was searching what could be wrong with it since it only had 12000 miles on the vehicle. Just answer was in the search . I filled out the required info and they would get me a dodge mechanic. The mechanic never came on the chat box. Now they want 39 dollars to cancel the membership as well as the 34 dollars I have already paid. This website is a total scam.

I had a problem with my computer, something popped up to answer questions and I asked the question.. max said it would be 5.00 for trial service (and said I had 7 days to cancel), which I missed and this was on Jan 18th..they are charging me 46.00 per month for the service, that I do not use.. had to have my computer put in shop for repairs.

This is a scam and everyone should be aware! DO NOT UNDER ANY REASON USE "JUSTANSWER TECH HELP ON YOUR COMPUTER"

Paid 5$ to get answer on painting , never got a response and they refuse to refund . their website says unconditional money back guarantee , but they refuse to refund

I was having trouble getting on a website of which I was a member and justanswer.com popped up offering to help me with the problem. The guy in a chat said I'd be billed $1.00 just enter my charge card which I did for the answer. The guy could not answer the question. I was billed 10 cents 5 times plus 50cents once on my charge card. Ok, reasonable. Next thing I knew, I was charged $46.00 each month for 3 months until I caught on and tried to cancel my, so called, membership. I was never informed I was joining. I have tried to cancel this membership and I have been given the run around and do not know if my membership was cancelled or not. ow I see others were scammed this way. I would advise everyone not to have anything to do with this site.

was locked out of my Samsung account so asked Google for help with my Samsung and directed me to this website and spent two hours in text msg try to resolve my issue and never once did they say that they were not Samsung and then charged men39.95 for getting help. Finly gave me the phone for Samsung costumer services. I called them and asked to be refunded this amount and to get assistance to reconnect to my account, they then Infromed me that that site was not them. So now these people have my card info. THEY FALSELY REPRESENTED THEMSELVES AS SAMSUNG.

I discovered a charge on my bank account for 34.00 from JustAnswer.com with this note: "Withdrawal Bill Payment / #023625100616 JUSTANSWER *MEMBERSHP 800-240-1371 CA %% Card 17 #7382". I called the number and asked who they were: the woman on the line asked for my cel number, I gave it, she asked if I had another cel number, I gave it for my old phone. She asked for an e-mail address and I suddenly regreted giving them any information at all and I hung up.

- I called my bank. The CSR told me that they had been charging me since March; I admit that I have not been checking my statements. I filed a fraud case and blocked the CC for that account; they are trying to get my my back for the last 60 days.

- I have never heard of these people. A check of my-email accounts shows no indication of creating an account for use of their site. I do not have their site listed in my notebook; I note down all sites that I have accounts with, whether they are paid accounts or not.

Did not explain to me what type service this is? My understanding was social security? Did not agree to service!

Paid for trial at justanswer.com. they weren't able to answer my question and said my credit card would not be charged. A month later I find 4 charges on my card from justanswer.com

I paid a one-time fee of $5 to have question answered. I was then enrolled in a $28/mo subscription. JustAnswer claims I agreed to enter a seven day subscription trial followed by automatic monthly billing if I did not cancel within 7 days. There was no mention of 7 day trial on the page where I entered my credit card information and no mention of automatic enrollment in the link to Terms and Conditions. See attached screen shots.

I recently went to this website to ask an ancestry question. The initial fee was $5, with a balance of $43.

The money has been taken from my bank account. But, when I tried to return to the website for the answer, I was informed that I had no account with JustAnswer.com

And, it would cost me another $60 to talk to their specialist about my no account.

As soon as I entered my credit card number, I got a fraud alert message from my bank.

I immediately requested a cancellation. But, they still took my money.

- Houston, TX, USA

I was looking for a local business to purchase a Roku attachment to be able to watch BritBox.

Went to what looked like just such a link and immediately was directed to this scam group whose message said I would owe an initial $5.

Trying to extricate myself, I got another message that I would be owing $30 'once a specialist answered' - something like that. I responded to CANCEL and said this was obviously a scam. I have had numerous supposedly apologetic emails asking me to explain why I saw them as a scam.

Please investigate

I was asking what I thought was a veterinary assistant about how to tell if my dog had fleas or lice. The answers sounded very scripted and I was asked what my dogs age and name was and I said 5. Name was not important. I was transferred to a

Page to pay 5 dollars to get in contact with my vet. I stated in did not need that. I was going to the page for suggestions to see if I could go to the pet store as I do not have the funds to go to the vet.
