This scammer used the Joann fabrics and crafts Sale advertisement website on Facebook. It looked real and I ordered many crafting and storage items at the reduced rates offered. They even sent an email with my order confirmation number and a tracking number. After a couple of weeks of no follow-up or shipping information, I tried the tracking number without success. The total charge was posted to my credit card from somewhere called Ohmmi Singapore. I clicked on the "Visit Our Store" link, and the Joannfabriccrafts.com website would not open. I sent three emails to [email protected] and received no reply. I spent several hours trying to track my order and have recently found a suspiciously fraudulent tracking line indicating the package was delivered to the mailbox last month. My "package" would have included large, bulky storage items as well as small crafting things. I seriously doubt they would have all been shipped together in one USPS delivery! Or even a single FedEx or UPS shipment. I hope my credit card company will help me get a refund.

I’ve received multiple emails impersonating Joann stores indicating a going out of business sale. The site allows you to purchase items and even sends email confirmation of purchases as well as shipping information.

This is a scam website pretending to be Joanns Fabrics Store I placed an order and items were never received on the site is showing order not shipped as of today order was placed march 12 they gave a bogus tracking# I contacted my post office they stated tracking doesn't exist they have fake email and phone # DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IS A SCAM

https://joannshoppingsell.com tried to contact them to refund my $$$$$ for items not received they trying to negotiate refund amount and I refuse to give out free $$$$ for items not received my post master takes pictures of all deliveries as of proof and no such tracking exist

2/27/25 Purchase made from site https://jo-annfabricsclosing.com/collections/yarn-needle-arts. If $50 purchase made you got free shipping. I found [email protected] to email when order was not received. Order was to arrive in 3 weeks. On the 4th week, I emailed the address found. Reply was from 'Amy' : [email protected] but signed 'Grace . Customer Service'. The tracking number was later identified as international tracking#. It was all written in Chinese except it arriving to my town 3/23/25. Found the translation button & was able to translate giving place of origin as Quanzhou City, China Post. 'Grace' stated no other tracking number available. Package was delivered 3/23. Advised to contact post office. Clerk felt it may be hung up in customs. Waited another week. 4/8/25 Claim started with USPS after stopping @ post office again to check on status. Advised to ask for US tracking#. Reached out to see if package could be resent. Asked for town of origin, zip code & US Tracking number. 'Grace' states 'No - can't be resent-but if package is lost they could refund 30% of cost.' No other answers given to questions about origin. Advised I would give it another week. Now the next day, local post office advises that it is a scam. BEWARE! Lost $50!

Knowing that JoAnn Fabrics and Craft stores were closing, I found this website and placed an order for craft supplies. The website contains "About" information that appears to have been lifted from the real JoAnn Stores, as well as fictitious US address and email contact information. The website also falsely claims that all orders are shipped using FedEx Express.

My order was placed on Feb 17, 2025 in the amount of $99.42 and I received an email confirmation from the scammer listing each of the items in the order and confirming FedEx Express shipping. My payment was made through PayPal.

On February 19, 2025, I received an email notification indicating that my order had been shipped. The merchant was listed as ????????????, not JoAnn Stores. The carrier information was blank in the email and a different email address was provided for customer service, [email protected].

The tracking link showed that a shipment had originated from China using China Post rather than FedEx Express. I waited a couple of weeks and then checked the provided tracking link. I was surprised to find that the link showed successful delivery of the package on March 3rd. I contacted the company on March 5th using both emails, explaining that I had not received anything. The email response that I received suggested that I check with family, friends and the local post office. Numerous emails have been exchanged since that time, with many from the scammer acknowledging that they believed that I did not receive a package. They began by offering a 30% refund. When I refused, subsequent offers of 50%, 60% and 80% refunds were offered.

I have provided the company with proof of non-delivery. China Post does not make home deliveries in the United States, they transfer packages to the Postal Service. The USPS has no record of receiving the package.

To date, I have received neither merchandise nor any refund. I'm out the entire amount.

Joann Fabrics closing with items listed. Purchased on March 8, 2025. I read several reviews from the joann fabric website stating they received items quickly. I received emails as normal online shopping. Items never sent. I kept checking the tracking and now today March 24,2025 says can not reach tracking. Website is deleted! My personal information and money is gone!

Was advertised as a final clearance for JoAnn Fabrics. I should have known it was too good to be true. I also suspect that due to accidentally clicking on a "tracking" link I had $480.00 taken from my bank account. I have a charge for that amount showing Elon Properties showing as pending on my account, and don't know who that is. Disputing with my bank tomorrow.

Ordered from what looked like actual Joann's bankruptcy site. Did the $50 plus order to get free shipping. Got email with order number, updates when order was packed & inspected, & sent to Fed Ex, then- nothing. Checked credit card statement, found charge made to AWX*Namei Shop, nothing to Joann's. This was March 4th. Joann's didn't stop online orders till the 5th when this scam was discovered.

Shopping for a sewing machine at joann fabrics- end up at https://jo-annsaleus.com/ and I purchased a sewing machine for $69.00 . My Credit card was charged but no item has arrived. I sent an email to the email account listed on the site as a contact us [email protected]. NO reply to date. I used my email address gmail account for the purchase and my roadrunner email account to send the inquiry.

There is also a phone number listed on https://jo-annsaleus.com as a contact us but I did not call it.

I received an email from Joann's who I have ordered online from before. The email said Bankruptcy sale so I clipped on the shop now. I went through and order about 20 things and with the discount I ended up paying $61.26 for the items. I paid for it on my credit card. I usually am very careful about ordering on line, but I have ordered from Joann's numerous times and had no problem. The email sent looked just like other emails I had received from Joann's and had my name and account in the upper right corner just like Joann's does. I only found out it was not from Joann's when I went back to look for the order on my Joann's account and it wasn't there. I called my credit card company and they said the payment was made payable to Anglan Blyssa who I have never heard of before. If you have received an email from Joann's about a bankruptcy sale be very cautious about it. This is my first time being fooled and I am very angry about it so please BEWARE.

Scammer posted a Joanne sale through facebook. Copied the entire website and enabled basket and paymrnt process, aaking for shpping and billing address of card, enail and phone number. Sales were 90%off due to closure of all stores. Made the payment. Received a payment confirmation with sales number indicating that items were getting ready for shipping.

Their phone number is a pre recorded line to insurance and other services sales. No way to contact them. The email address bounces back.

The business name of the store Joann and contact information provided by them in the website is slightly different.

The fake contact information they provide is:

My purchase was on March 3, 2025. They succesfully charged my card on March 13, 2026.

Bank of America provided me with a temporary refund of the charges the next day after I reported the case, while they investigate my report.

I thought it was a real liquidation sale for Joann Fabrics. My son said it is a scam. The debit in my bank account does not say Joann. It says:

( Check No: Sequence No: 949738 Desc: AWX*Yagang City: PINLESS State: CO Country: US )

I only placed the order today - I have not rec'd any product, but I am trying to cancel the transaction with my bank and report it as fraudulent. I did receive an email from this company thanking me for my order and stating they were preparing it for shipping. I took the address and city information from the email. The website shows the same information.

It said Joanna’s was having a going out of business sale, so I started ordering from facebook. It asked to put my address and credit card information, which I did. I looked it up and it keeps saying that it’s still waiting for pickup to be delivered.
