Type of a scam Home Improvement

Mr. Denson is preying on the people of Albany, Georgia (people in his own community) with false claims that he is a licensed and bonded plumber and contractor. Mr. Denson met me at my place of business to do a walk-through and place a bid on my plumbing job, after having other plumbers place bids on the plumbing job, Mr. Denson was the only one available to start within the next four weeks. I can provide a copy of the contract. He required $1000 down payment. He was to install one master bathroom from beginning to end and perform minor improvements to three other bathrooms. Mr. Denson noticing that I also needed a new roof he stated that he had some of his employees are qualified roofers would only need one full day to complete the roof job He required a payment of $4000 to start the new roof project. A copy of the roof contractors also available upon request. After receiving the money I sent a text to Mr Denson asking when the rolloff dumpster was coming, he stated the dumpster would be on site in two days and that was the last time I saw or heard from Mr. Denson.
