Sent order in for three birdhouses. Received NOT ONE! No email. NOTHING. Two were to be gifts. One for a Vietnam vet. who was wounded in Vietnam, another for grandson and wife now serving in Arm at camp Liberty, North Carolina..

I made a heartfelt purchase thinking it was to help a disabled veteran, who was making birdhouses by hand, only to find out the items are coming from China! The only way to contact the seller is via email which only replies with automated shipping info. I purchased thru PayPal so I may be able to file a dispute once the items are recd. What a shameful scam, using disabled veteran status, to promote Chinese made via assembly-line products as your own handmade items!

Ad selling handmade metal birdhouse garden stakes by disabled veteran. Order ended up being tracked from China. Return address is JANE 3 Lincoln Drive Fairfield, NJ 07004. Cannot contact with any phone number, never provided. Only email address at [email protected] They do not want to refund money as shipment received was damaged and nothing like the item that was advertised. Ad was thru Facebook to order. Checked the website they advertise is NVBDC.org and a phone number but that is for the National Veteran Business Development Council not affiliated with supposedly this disabled vet that was to make handmade metal birdhouse garden stake. I contacted the email address with photos and explaining the damaged product and that it is not as pictured in the advertisement. Very misleading and deceiving ads as you think you are helping a disabled vet with a handmade item he is selling where in fact it's a cheap looking knock off that doesn't even come close to the advertised product.

As a precaution, if you do buy something, like I did before I saw this, pay using PayPal. They will refund your money, and just take it out of the sellers account. On my invoice, the company name was Hug. That has to be an acronym for something.
