It was a stressful experience almost missed 2 days of working trying to resolve this matter . They tried telling me I owed money to EZcorp or I would be in court owing more money . They said I could do payment arrangements sent me through email a payment arrangement and asked for my credit card information . It all looked real but I still had to check into because I didn’t call having anything with EZcorp.

Winn Dixie Bounced check from 1996

I recieved a call on 2/21 from jasmine saying she was a mitigation specialist with Jackson Avery associates trying to recover a debt for a $46.38 bounced check from Winn Dixie in October of 1996 my ex wife had written ! At the time we had never recieved anything from Winn Dixie or the bank,I talked to the ADA for the district attorney office for the county we lived in at the time He said he was pretty sure it was a scam !
I had discussed with jasmine that I didn’t sign the check but she said since I was the primary account holder on that account I was liable for the $415 and if I didn’t want to pay today they wouldn’t legal proceedings take me to court out Alan on my house and they could repo my vehicle which is financed through a bank and they are the lean holders !
The ADA said that was fraud as well they can’t repo a car that the loan is held by another source !
They had a lot of my information and they also sent a copy of the check from back then it looked legitimate!
