DEFINITELY A SCAM

Kevin Warren (made up name) talks a good game. I was first on guard when I heard his accent and his phone reception kept breaking up. No idea where he is since he is clearly not living in the woods at Birds Creek Road. That is all that is there: WOODS. Thick woods, like a forest. What a way to make a living, [censored]. Whoever is connected with this scam should rot in jail. I'm glad I was savvy enough not to be taken in, but I feel for those who weren't so fortunate.

I contacted the very professional staff at Seven Hills in case they weren't aware and they know. They deal with this problem about 5 times a year. What a shame that a professional, well-run business has to put with this garbage. Kudos to A. Schuster in Charlotte NC for completely identifying and capturing this issue. Well said.

Type of a scam Phishing

Scammer running adds on Facebook and fake website. Claims to be J&S Preowned Auto in Tunnelton WV, selling classic cars. Taking personal information, ID, etc. Then making a false bill of sale and only accepting a wire transfer so it is not easily traceable or refundable. Claiming to ship across the country in an enclosed trailer for pennies on the dollar compared to standard shipping rates. Enticing with a 30 day buy back guarantee to try and make you feel secure in your purchase. The scammer is not J&S Preowned Auto sales. They are mimicking the name and using stolen content from another classic car sales and consignment dealer named Sevin Hills Motorcars in Cincinnati Ohio. They are taking content from the previous sales section of Sevin Hills website and using it as their fake “inventory”. When speaking to “Kevin Warren” (fake name) of the fake J&S, it’s obvious that he in no native West Virginian. He is not originally from the US based on his accent and it is unclear where he is actually operating his scam from. Beware of this so called business.
