Caller claiming to be IRS stating need to contact IRS immediately. Caller did not indicate who the call was directed to. Call was a recording with a callback number of 208-271 -1241.

I received a phone call saying they were the IRS and I had commited Fraud and there was an arrest warrant issued for me. I gave them a fake name and they supposedly looked me up and said yes there was an arrest warrant for me if I did not pay.

My last notice before a lawsuit would be filed for income tax fraud

Stated they were a division of IRS. My 2013 taxes were incorrect and IRS filing against me because I had not responded to mailings. This was my final chance to work with them before legal action. Hung up on them and blocked number. Caller spoke with a Nigerian accent.

Consumer received a call from someone pretending to be with the IRS. caller stated that the person calling was Kevin Jones. His stated that the caller stated that she owed back taxes from 2008-2013 and if she didn't pay, the IRS would come to her house to arrest her.

Saying their the IRS and I have a lawsuit with them.

The IRS has filed a lawsuit against me

I received a phone call from a foreign speaking male stating he was officer with the IRS Investigations Division, gave me even a "badge number". He proceeded to tell me the IRS has attempted to contact me twice by mail but that they have received no response from me. I asked him to verify my mailing address, it was NOT my correct mailing address, which then made me highly suspicious. I asked him to verify my social security number if in fact he was representing who he said he was representing, he refused to answer my question, stating he did not have "access" to my information in their file!!! So, after this long explanation of him telling me I was going to be subject to warrant an arrest for if I selected to fight it and chose not to resolve this issue by paying what he said I owed the IRS, which was $5,286.00 I ask for his phone number to have my attorney and my accountant contact him to confirm this was authentic and not a scam. He then became frustrated, flustered, and irritated. I even asked to speak with someone else that was English speaking, I never got anyone other than foreign speaking. The number on my caller ID was 804-212-0335 from Richmond, VA. I hung up on this James White, who identified himself as the Senior Revenue Agent for the IRS.

The 1st foreign speaking male was Sky Carter, and he gave me his badge number and even gave me a case number. Lots of noise in the background, like a "call center". Please investigate and put a stop to this scam activity.

Consumer received a call from 856-656-5505 saying that they were the IRS and that they would be filing a lawsuit against her

I was left a message on my voicemail by someone claiming to be the IRS. I was told to call the number 336-981-5028 which I did. I spoke to a man who said his name was Godwin Baptist, and I owed $8000 in back taxes which I had to pay immediately. He gave me a case number of GF1509 and another identification number of DC443.

I told him that I would need some form of notification in writing. He then told me that the police would be at my house within 30 minutes. Something did not sound right so I called ScamPulse.com and found out this was a scam.

I got another one of those phoney IRS calls. The usual nonsense about getting sued.

I was contacted by a man claiming to be an officer of the IRS. I know the IRS never calls you and threatens to sue you and told him that. He hung up.

MESSAGES LEFT ON TELEPHONE FROM THE IRS SAYING WE WERE BEING SUED. LEFT TWO DIFFERENT PHONE MESSAGES

Called on the phone and left message. Final notice call 478-607-0017 for more information. Did not talk with IRS or call back.

2nd call from IRS. Claim against me, final chance to call and make it right. Call 478-607-0017.

I received a recorded call with a male voice saying "You are being investigated, this is an important call. Contact us on the following number to speak to an agent. 563-202-7054". I did not and will not be calling this number back.

Message on answering machine. Been trying to get in touch with you for a long time. You need to get back in touch with us, call this number 856-656-6059 or a law suit will be filed against me.

BBB received a call from a consumer reporting she received a v-mail from the IRS saying there was a lawsuit against her and she should call back immediately for instructions to refile. She called them back and asked for them to send info to her about the problem. They told her they could not send anything as it would cost millions of dollars to fulfill those types of requests.

These people called me, leaving me massages saying they were the IRS, when I called back, I said " I received a missed call from this number" a foreign man that answered asked if my name was *** ***?" I said no it is not; having received many calls asking for her; I told him I keep receiving calls for her and that I don't know who she is. I wanted to know why they kept calling me and leaving threatening messages. He gave me his badge number and gave me my supposed case number and information. After a while talking to him he told me I owed the IRS $11,700 and that there was going to be a police officer with a warrant for my arrest at my doorstep if I did not pay the money right then. After arguing with him that that is absolutely not possible, he told me that I would have to hire an attorney. After I asked some more questions he hung up on me. I then called back and got another foreign woman, I proceeded to tell her everything that happened on the last call and demanded to know how a 25 year old single mother of 2 could even owe that much? She just kept telling me that I had to pay something right now or go to prison! I said well I obviously don't want to go to jail, but I know I don't owe that much! She then told me that if I don't have the money now, that the process would be to be that an officer would arrive at my location with a warrant, and take me to jail for 48 hours, then appear in court and fight my case there. I said "how can you do that when I obviously didn't know about this until 20 minutes ago !" She said that was not her fault because they have tried to reach me by mail numerous times" to which I said "I have not gotten jack squat from you people saying I owe anything!" She said that it was still my fault for not having the rite address. After some more arguing, I was transfered again. And again, it was another foreign man, but he put officer in front of his name. And after the exact back and forth as the people before, I said "even if I were to magically have money to pay you people, I don't know if you are who you say you are. You're the american gonverment, but not one time have I talked to an american." The then said something about talking to his supervisor, then hung up on me.
