IRS Reports & Reviews (5106)

Received phone call saying there was a mistake in my taxes for year 2009 and 2013. I have not done taxes since 2000. I am on disability and do not make enough to file.

My granddaughter also received the same phone call and so did my son. That's 3 people out of one family.

I really think this is a scam and people should be aware of this. One other thing when I said I had not filled since

2000 they hung up. They say they are the Internal Revenue Service

Mr. A.J. Parker ID# 1986989 Contacted me by phone regarding a tax Audit from 2007 - 2014

I am charged with criminal and civil charges and have to appear in from of a magistrate for taxes not paid.

I have never been notified in writing of such a situation. When I started asking questions he quickly hung up the phone.

The person on the phone was asking for $3640.80. to be paid immediately to avoid any court proceedings.

Receives an automated message to call the IRS back at 206-483-0100 because I was being monitored and soon to be arrested. I returned the call to request to be removed from their calling list. I asked the phone representative to remove my number, and he hung up on me. I called back and made the same request, and the representative said he was unable to remove me from the list. When I mentioned that it was not OK, and asked again to please remove me from the list, he said " How about I *** you tonight."

I had three calls yesterday on my answering machine from the IRS saying they were going to file a lawsuit against me.

He called and said that he was officer Robert Will and he was with the IRS and I owed over 6,187.00 and if I did not pay it now that within 30 to 40 minutes he would put and warrant in for my arrest, He called from 202-754-8555

Person answering the phone stated his name as Jim White, and that I owed taxes in the amount $6,500. That from 2010 thru 2014 there were errors on my return and they were giving me a chance to pay, before the IRS (who was filing a lawsuit) would have me arrested for not paying the back taxes. upon my refusal to listen to him, he wanted to connect me to his manager and give me a chance to work out a settlement. I had to hang up the phone to get rid of him.

I had a message left on my answering machine that it was the IRS and I needed to call Heather Gray back at 717-689-4316. I called the ScamPulse.com instead.

Have received several calls over the last several days from the "IRS" claiming this is the last call I'll receive before they file a lawsuit against me. Naturally, I answered a call from Washington, DC. I listened to the recorded message saying this was my last chance to respond. Then they gave the number listed above. I called back and they started asking for my name, social security number- etc- I cut them off and told them this was Bull S... and I then hung up.

The company is saying that I owe taxes for a federal criminal offense. I do not owe IRS any money. They are calling my home phone and my cell phone.

This number calls as a police officer and an IRS agent and they always leave the number they called from to reach back out to them. If you answer it is a pre recorded message telling you that you owe the IRS. they give you a file/claim number and ask you to return the call. the number to call back is always a straight to voice mail number.

Consumer received a phone message on answering machine threatening a a law suit if the consumer did not return the call and pay the bill. The consumer knows it is a scam and did not return the call. The scammers wanted the consumer to return the call at (202) 239-7403.

Received a call from phone number 718-285-7810. My machine picked up the message. Claimed to be Steven Butler from the IRS. Said I or my attorney needed to call him at 888-545-4070. This was his hotline which supposedly rang at his desk. The call was received at 2:29 PM on 7/19/2016. I did not call back as I knew it was a scam. I just wanted you to know about this, as this is the second call I have had

Leaving message to phone to call 803-300-7171. Female voice, leaves no name. We are about to be sued by the IRS and to call this number.

On June 14 and July 12, 2016, two phone calls from an IRS impersonator to our home phone stated that we are being sued by the IRS and that we must call 434-430-1396 to resolve the matter. We did not call the number realizing that it was a scam.
