Person answering the phone stated his name as Jim White, and that I owed taxes in the amount $6,500. That from 2010 thru 2014 there were errors on my return and they were giving me a chance to pay, before the IRS (who was filing a lawsuit) would have me arrested for not paying the back taxes. upon my refusal to listen to him, he wanted to connect me to his manager and give me a chance to work out a settlement. I had to hang up the phone to get rid of him.

I had a message left on my answering machine that it was the IRS and I needed to call Heather Gray back at 717-689-4316. I called the ScamPulse.com instead.

Have received several calls over the last several days from the "IRS" claiming this is the last call I'll receive before they file a lawsuit against me. Naturally, I answered a call from Washington, DC. I listened to the recorded message saying this was my last chance to respond. Then they gave the number listed above. I called back and they started asking for my name, social security number- etc- I cut them off and told them this was Bull S... and I then hung up.

The company is saying that I owe taxes for a federal criminal offense. I do not owe IRS any money. They are calling my home phone and my cell phone.

This number calls as a police officer and an IRS agent and they always leave the number they called from to reach back out to them. If you answer it is a pre recorded message telling you that you owe the IRS. they give you a file/claim number and ask you to return the call. the number to call back is always a straight to voice mail number.

Consumer received a phone message on answering machine threatening a a law suit if the consumer did not return the call and pay the bill. The consumer knows it is a scam and did not return the call. The scammers wanted the consumer to return the call at (202) 239-7403.

Received a call from phone number 718-285-7810. My machine picked up the message. Claimed to be Steven Butler from the IRS. Said I or my attorney needed to call him at 888-545-4070. This was his hotline which supposedly rang at his desk. The call was received at 2:29 PM on 7/19/2016. I did not call back as I knew it was a scam. I just wanted you to know about this, as this is the second call I have had

Leaving message to phone to call 803-300-7171. Female voice, leaves no name. We are about to be sued by the IRS and to call this number.

I was called by an auto-dialer, informed I was being sued by the Internal Revenue Service, and instructed to call 310-272-6764.

they have called my house several times and my grandstrs and state that we owe back taxes and they are collecting for the federal govt and we can pay with a credit card or we will have charges brought up and prosecuted to the fullest extent of federal law....

On June 14 and July 12, 2016, two phone calls from an IRS impersonator to our home phone stated that we are being sued by the IRS and that we must call 434-430-1396 to resolve the matter. We did not call the number realizing that it was a scam.

PEOPLE CALLED FROM 626-554-7448 SAYING I WAS BEING SUED BY THE IRS

- Minnetonka, MN, USA

Stating that a law suit has been filed under our names and a response is required

Received a call from 218-526-1459 saying they were the IRS calling to put a felony on me for not paying my taxes. I believe this call came from Libya.

You get a cal, says you owe the IRS money and they are a collector for the IRS. That if you do not contact them, that they will come to collect. I called the number back, guys answers the phone. "IRS" I tell them this is nothing but a scam and they had better never call me again.

The person said he worked for Irs and that i owed a certain amount of money to them, a warrant was going out for my arrest when he hung the phone up. he said i was going to be put in jail . he wanted to know how much money was in my bank account. also he was from another country did speak english well.

received a call from 360-203-0018. They said they were the IRS calling regarding an enforcement document. the man named Chris Moen suggested that I call him back at 215-249-6010. I did not call as I'm aware this is a scam.

Received a phone message on Friday 7/15 at 10:30 am. The message said I would need to appear before a grand jury as a felony warrant would be issued for me if I didn't return their call to 516-734-0888. The caller ID showed Public INT NTWK after the phone number. The voice was a male voice, however it was muffled or he sounded drunk.

A recording keeps calling my house claiming to be the "IRS," and says that they are "filing a lawsuit against me." The number they leave is 406-941-1837, and it sounds like someone in another country answers. This could be very damaging for the elderly or someone who didn't know it was a scam! This has happened over a period of months, so they must be having some success scamming people.

I keep getting calls and voice mails from this number I was told I was being audited and when I asked why I didn't receive a letter in the mail I was told no one was home so it was sent back to the irs that's when I hung up. I get at least 2 voice mails and at least 3 calls a day. In the message it says attempt to collect a debt and something about a lawyer they talk so fast you can understand half of what was said. It is an automated voice
