Type of a scam Tax Collection

Male caller stated "This is an officer from the IRS. We've been trying to reach you. This is your final notice. A lawsuit has been filed against you. Call Department 3 immediately: 310 933-0184." It was a bit difficult to understand the number but I think that was it. I've received similar calls several months ago. I never returned any of these calls

The operator said I owe the IRS money and that I have warrants out for my arrest and that they have sent me papers to me (which I never have received). He also stated the local police department has my address and information and they're going to be coming to my address to arrest me on warrants from the IRS if I don't send them (The person on the other end) thousands of dollars.

The # is a California cell phone.

This is the 3rd call I got from 202-459-4681

The fist time was to confirm it was me on the phone.

July 26, 2016 - The 2nd time it said it was Officer Daniel Whiteman a detective for the IRS -

Internal Revenue Service.

I needed to have my lawyer or myself return the call because it was a criminal case default of taxes and if I did

not respond it would fall out . I then drove to an Internal Revenue Service at a close city to me. . I showed them the number and name given to me. She suggested I block the phone number which I did. She did say that the IRS doesn't call people for default taxes. She did say they have been trying to track it down but haven't succeeded yet. Hope this help get to the culprits soon!!!!!!

On July 22, 2016 we had a call from this person/number Jhon Scott phone #631-808-6011 advising us that this was a Final Notice from the IRS that there were legal charges pending against us and there would be a Federal Investigation against us and it was our legal obligation to contact them at this number 631-808-6011.

I contacted the Moody County Sheriff’s office to see if they handled this type of call and they said we should advise the ScamPulse.com, so that is why I’m sending you this information. I realize it is very hard to trace these calls, but perhaps some of the information may be helpful in trying to stop these calls.
