I have received at least 10 phone calls over the last 2 or 3 days from an IRS scam robo call. The call states that this is my final warning. IRS is filing law suit and wants me to call (213) 716-1075. Over the last month, I have received approximately 20 -30 of theses calls.

- Huntington, IN, USA

I got a voicemail message. Not a person, just a "voice". Said to call that number about a lawsuit by the IRS. I have not worked since 2007.

Caller informs the answer that this is the final notice for an IRS investigation and that the answer needs to call back immediately. The caller must be anticipating below average intelligence to think people would believe that the IRS would use a phone call for any official means of communications.

When I called to number back to have my phone number removed from the calling list, an Indian voice answered stating that he represented the IRS and needed to take down my personal information. When I refused and informed him that he was not from the IRS, the line was disconnected before I could ask to be removed from the calling list.

calling saying that the irs needs to speak to me for a debt .

I received a phone call from a gentlemen claiming to be with the IRS (with a foreign accent) and that if I did not pay my back taxes I will have a warrant for my arrest. I told him that the IRS does not call and that I did not owe any taxes I received a refund last year. He stated that they made a mistake and hung up.

The man I talked to was Oscar White Badge number D11849270 he said the IRS was sueing us because they did an audit for years 2009-2014 and we didn't pay enough. He said we owed $3948.00 and asked if I wanted to take care of it today, I said no it would have to be a payment plan, he said he would get his Supervisor to talk to me. I hung up.

Left message on phone. Daniel Wiseman - Officer with IRS, Customer File number CF92371. You don't not need to disregard this. If I don't hear from you or your lawyer this will go to a criminal law suit, which will be filed against you. Has called two times in am direct line 202-795-5296. In afternoon the phone number was 202-769-5305. Caller ID shows as Washington, DC. Threating part at the end, if I do not hear from you I wish you luck with your up coming law suit.

IRS scam. Person demanded I pay $900 in gift cards or I would be arrested and thrown in jail for 7 months.

I received two phone calls on my private cell phone today, 09/01/2016, from the phone number listed above. I ignored the first one, but got a voice mail that was incomplete. I answered the second time and it was a recording saying that it was the IRS, and they had been trying to reach me. The recording went on to say that a lawsuit would be brought against me if I did not respond. At this point, I ended the call. I then decided to dial the number. The man who answered said it was the IRS, but didn't give me a name. He had a very heavy Middle Eastern accent. I said he was not the IRS and to please remove my number from his call list. He responded and asked who said it wasn't the IRS, and I just hung up without listening to anything else he had to say.

They called twice in one day. They claim to be giving final notice for collecting monies due to the IRS. The first time I answered and it was a recording. The second call I let go and it went into voice mail with the same recording. They left a contact phone number (above) that is the same as the one the call came from.

I have received two (2) automated phone calls this week on my cell phone from a company claiming they represent the IRS. They claim this is my final warning that the IRS is going to sue me and I am to call 605-208-1234 for further information and instructions.

I DID NOT CALL THE NUMBER.

Officer Dan Wideman calling from the IRS with a criminal law suit. 202-769-5256,202-769-5305,202-734-5871

- Waxhaw, NC, USA

Called consumer and indicates he owes to the IRS, and there is a claim against him.

- Gainesville, GA, USA

It was a recording tell me the Irs has been trying to reach me. And I must call this no. To pay my bill or get fined or even go to jail. It was the same no. That was called from.

Caller indicates the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and leaves the above phone number to contact.

We didn't answer the call since it was out of our area code. Caller left message saying she was from IRS and it was urgent to call the number (714-705-0709) asap or have our lawyer call. Time sensitive. Do not delay, Do not ignore this message. The voice was female but it was obviously computerized. It started talking immediately when our answering machine started the message.

IRS person stated that they will not be able to prevent me from going to jail. ***

Have received several phone calls today alone, 10:05, 2:46, and 2:48 telling us to call this number 1-816-253-6036, immediately, "we owe" them money, or they "will have us arrested today." And to have a nice day. We know this is a scam, as we owe nothing to the IRS, and we have seen the warnings on the news, as well as many friends have also been getting these calls in the last few days. Some have actually spoken to a person, and asked them to not call back, and been sworn at, and told that they can't be stopped. Usually a foreign accent person on the other end, and their English is very poor. This is not the first time we have received this kind of call, it is about the 3rd or 4th time we have received the same kind of call in the last few months. Why can't these people be stopped? We have something called Blacklist on our cell phones, and I block as many calls as I can, but we get calls daily that are scam calls. It is so annoying, we actually got rid of our land lines, and now they are calling our cell phones. We just can't even answer our phones anymore. It's like we have to hide from every call, and call our friends, doctors, and family back. We don't seem to have any rights, or privacy anymore. Very sad. They are the ones with all the rights, and we have none at all. Something is not right with this. Why to they have all the rights, and we, the consumer, have no rights at all???

This phone number has called several of my family members claiming that the IRS is holding them liable for payment . This is obviously a scam and when I call the number back to call them out on it they claim the number no longer exists. I feel bad for any older folks who might fall for this scam on their life's savings.
