Cash Advance Loan - Non Repayment

Company says i didnt make good on a cash advance from year and years ago. said they sent me a parcel. which i never received and they are going to sue me in court. i told them i will see them there i dont owe anyone anything.

Similar to other users, I got a call from IRC telling me that they were calling me because I was the emergency contact for my wife. They were looking for attorney information for her, as they had a felony case filed against her in our county for an unpaid Check n Go payday advance.

The caller was very unspecific about the complaint, but the worrying part was that they knew the last four digits of our checking account number. We're going now to get our account number changed at the bank.

I asked if it was a civil or criminal complaint, and he said he couldn't tell me... But he could tell me it was for a Check n Go payday advance?

Anyway, she didn't have any unpaid payday loans, and when she called that number back they were also very elusive with facts, and very threatening, so we've dropped it, read up a little bit more about IRC, and decided to warn others.

Scary Scam

Different numbers have been trying to contact me regarding an old pay day advance loan I took out, yet have a paid in full letter for the only account I had with them. I finally called the number back today asking what parcel they were trying to deliver that hasnt been able to be delivered. She stated that they were coming after me for the old payday loan and that they were going to file charges against me if I didnt pay. I then asked what the amount is and she put me on hold and came back and said it was for 800 something dollars but will settle for 601. She said the offer was only good u til today until 3:00 and if i didnt pay by then that the charges would be filed with my county. I called the payday advance collections number to verify and she stated it sounded like a scam and to ask the place calling if they could send me a validation of debt letter to my home address. I called IRC back and told them i needed the validation of debt sent to me at my address. She stated it would be too late by then and that she was just going to file charges against me through my county for 2 felonies. Mind you I never have received anything in email or mail from these people prior. It sounded super legitimate and it is very scary what these scammers will do to you. Everyone be safe and dont let anyone scare you into paying anything you're not familiar with.

IRC services called me with detailed personal information that left me speechless, saying I owe a loan from years ago in a certain state and county and that I needed to pay by noon the next day or it will be going to court if not paid by then. they provided me with a case number and a toll free number to call and the amount owed, they claimed they didn't want me to be blind sided by this because the parcel was sent back to them so I never received the claimed parcel that was allegedly sent. Every piece of information was detailed and they make you feel like your really going to be in some sort of trouble don't give into these people.
