In the last week I have been receiving voice mail calls from callers stating that it is the IRS. I called the number they provided of 320 207 6942. It took a few rings for someone to answer the telephone and it also took a few minutes for a woman to answer. A female, with a real strong accent, stated IRS. I just said I was calling you back and at that time she asked me my name. I gave my name. The lady said I will tell you what is going on but please do not interrupt me. The lady said that they went through my taxes and she stated that my information did not match up and there was a warrant out for my arrest. She also stated that I owed $3,000.00 plus fines. I tried calling the number again and told the woman who answered that do you think I believe anything you said, and I said I was going to call the ScamPulse.com and called her a name and hung up.

I have received two different robo calls stating they have a lawsuit with my name on it and before they send it to my local courthouse to call them back. When I called the phone numbers both of them answer as the IRS with a man with a foreign accent claiming to be a IRS Agent. This is the scam that has been going sround for sometime now, The calls stopped for awhile until this past wek. I received a robo call on mon May 8th from 1-631-550-7771 which was a robo call directing me to call them. I received another robo call today from 1-631-343-0219 same foreigner calling claiming he was the IRS.. These people need to get a job and to stop trying to scam people out of their hard earned earnings.

Good morning. I received a threatening call this morning from 206-204-5478 claiming to be the IRS regarding tax fraud. It was a pre-recorded message left on my voice mail stating this was my final notice that I’ve been marked as committing tax fraud & would be arrested. No business name was listed but the above phone number was left. It’s the same number that called. Has anyone reported this number as a scam? I have an accountant that does my taxes so I’m sure this has to be some sort of scam.

I received a call from 720-442-7718 claiming to be with IRS. Between 2011-2013 I owed them $997.13. And if I didn't listening to what they had to saying the would come and arrest me and they had already contacted the FBI. They wanted me to go walgreens, krogers, walmart and for me to stay on the phone with them while I did this. I am not sure now but I think they wanted the money wired to them. I hung up on them and called my accountant. He advised the IRS would send a letter first, not just call you. They have tried to call several times since then. I have not lost any money but wanted to warn others.

This number has called 7 times today claiming to be the Criminal investigation division of the IRS, speaking in an Indian accent and threatening to send the police, they have left messages that say the same thing in a computer voic that says they will send the "Coops" if not contaced in 24 hours.

They have called now more than a dozen times from diffferent numbers, the latest was California 209-636-6407. Interestingly the calls started immediately after I placed a call to a colleague in Texas in the same area code. Again I called a colleague in California then the calls started from the 209 Area code. Maybe coincidence but starting to wonder if they have hacked either my phone or the phone company (Verizon)
