Received voicemail on cell phone from 202-652-4665 (number that showed up on my voicemail caller information.) someone claiming to be "Rosemary" from the I.R.S Investigations claiming if I did not call her department at ??02652 for ?665 (she said to call) she would track down my case file to local police department in order to get me arrested on these ??? Charges.

I received a call from the above number and let it go to voicemail. They said to call regarding a law suit filed against me. I called and they claimed they were the police department calling for the IRS stating if I didn't pay the police would come and arrest me. I knew immediately it was a scam and informed them and they hung up. This also occurred a few months ago but I'm not sure if it's the same number.

We you ask them if they are the IRS they either hang up or cus you out.

A man called this morning and twice yesterday from the 206 phone # in Seattle,WA He insisted he was from the IRS and was calling to advise me that a law suit was being processed on my tax returns from 2010-2015 and if I didnt cooperate I would be arrested by the Sherrifs Dept. within 48hrs and taken to jail. I advised him of my attorneys name and phone # and to speak to him directly. I did not give out any information starting with how to spell my name and where I lived,etc. I told him if necessary we have a large IRS Dept. located in our area and I'll just go down there with my lawyer and discuss this matter. He had a foreign accent which could have been Middle Eastern;Indian,Pakistani,etc. Hung up on him and I must confess I'm shaking so bad I thought I was going to have a heart attack. He didnt know that since I remained very controlled. What a way to start the day off Please let the local networks know another person was targeted in our area

Telephone call stating it was the IRS & I was to telephone to avoid prosecution by the IRS for personal tax bill owed.

Called the telephone # provided 253-880-1091 & person with accent & scratchy connection answered "IRS". I asked if this was the Internal Revenue Service & he responded yes. I told him I had received a telephone call regarding a past due income tax bill & was instructed to call to avoid criminal prosecution. (I owe no past due tax bills). He asked for my name & telephone #. I informed him the call had been to my cell phone & I was calling him from a different land line. I further informed him that I would not supply my name or any information without any proof that this was truly a call from the United States Federal Government Internal Revenue Service. He hung up.

The phone call was a computer automated voice telling me that I filed fraudulent taxes last year and owed the agency money. It provided the name of a police offer and told me to call the phone number that showed up on my caller ID to resolve the balance. After the recording was finished the call disconnected. I did not call the number.

Somebody called me and said because IRS send me documents to pay almost $8,000, and I didn't response, so in next 10 minutes they will send the police to arrest me. I am sure that I didn't do any thing wrong with filling tax,and she didn't gave me my old or new address or other right information about me, so I didn't answer the question about my bank account and other information relating to me.
