The IRS Bellevue has falsely accused me of owing them money. I called and went to the IRS offices in Seattle and they stated that they can't find that I owe them any money. They told me that they send letters. They don't make phone calls to their taxpayers. They don't threaten to have arrest and that they don't ask for money over the phone. No letters were sent. Phone calls were made. they ask for money and have threatened to have me arrested. $6,000.00. I'm asking that they IRS Bellevue be contacted about this matter and that they don;t charge me with tax evasion or fraud or have me arrested. This seems to be a fax scam, lie, or misconduct that I'm to pay for.

I received a scary phone today from a person claiming to be the Internal Revenue Service stating that I was naming in a complaint for back Taxes in the amount of $1256.00 dollars. The individuals calling said at the end of the call within one hour there would an arrest warrant issued if I did not cooperate with them. In researching the phone number they called from I found that their number is a VOIP number associated with an IRS Scam. The agents gave the following identifying information on themselves: first person identified as Jerry Spencer giving an ID # 8602685, the second Steve Johnson id# IRLZ74485 and the third Zachary Rivas ID# VCT747094. In previous communications with the IRS they always give their ID# at the beginning of the conversation these people did not I had to ask for the info. They stated they would cancel all actions against me if I would give them a $`100 pmt today, and they they said $50. When I advised I could not do that they put the third person on the phone and said they will wait till April 12th and will get in touch with me and to not share this information with any third parties which raised a red flag and prompted me to check out the phone number they were calling from that's when I found that number to be associated with an IRS Scam that is primarily targeting senior citizens which I am. I hvnt given them any personal information at this point but I believe that this is a scam that needs to be reported to the IRS

I received a call that was recording of a man claiming to be from the IRS. He quickly gave a phone number with 209 area code but he spoke so quickly I couldn't even write the number down. The number he called from was blocked as well. This honestly sounded like first attempt at scamming like he was reading a script. To me very obviously a scam but I could see how people with money IRS issues could be confused.

Addresses himself as Officer Robert from the IRS and states I am under federal investigation for fraud and unethical activities found in the audit report from my taxes. If I don't respond it will be taken as an offense from my side. I therefore called the number back from my work line and gentleman answered phone then proceeded to question me for personal details. I then questioned him that if I was truly being investigated wouldn't I have been notified by mail from the IRS? At this point the gentleman hung up on me.

The scammer leaves a voicemail stating there is a lawsuit under your name, stating so before we move forward with it, please call us at then they gave the telephone number. If you continue to play the recording it automatically dials the number.

I was suspicious because the first thing they ask you is when did you get the message and then ask what is your name I gave the man my name then was immediately put on hold.

I hung up, called back but always got the same voice. Then I called back on a different telephone number, a different voice answered and I asked her to tell me generally what this is about. She stated that she could not until I had given her my name. I hung up.

Person leaves message saying you need to call back immediately or they will let the attorneys unfold this problem. I called and the gentlemen said he was from the IRS. I asked for his badge number and then told him I had looked up this number and it was not the IRS. He kept saying O.K. honey (had accent) and I told him I would be reporting this. He hung up at that time.
