They keep calling my cellphone and leaving messages saying that if i don't call them back a warrant will be issued in my name and identity and submitted to my state authorities. I called my local police department to have them verify any info. They said it was a scam for the Irs and to not call the number back. They also told me to go to ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker online and to click on report a scam.

I keep receiving phone calls from various places in the US: NY (315-201-5054), CA (818-485-4083) that are just recordings. When leaving a voicemail, they sound like computerized voices and are informing me that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I’ve tried calling back several times, only got a human once. She asked for my name and I refused to answer until she told me who she was and what the call was about. She said “ is this Kiley” or something like that and after I said no, she hung up. Other times I’ve tried calling back, the line is either disconnected, not in use, not a valid phone number (it was typed correctly), or it’s the same recorded message.

I just called the NY # back, got a human and had a similar conversation. When I asked if it was a scam, the man (315) hung up just like the woman (818) did

received a phone call twice in one day. I answered the second time , there was an automated message saying that I was in arrears with the IRS and that I needed to settle the debt before judicial action was taken . I called the # a man answered the phone claiming to be from the IRS and asked me my name . I told him that if in fact he was from the IRS he would already know who he was speaking to. he immediately hung up the phone and had the service to his phone disconnected

I received a voicemail. It was a robot recording from this number identifying itself as an officer Steve Parker with the "internal revenue services" telling me that there was tax fraud against me and that I had to call immediately to avoid the matter going to court or my going to jail. When looking up the company name, I came across that there is an actual company with the same name. However the real company is a cable and internet installation comapny.

On August 16th, we received a call and a voice mail was left. They said they were the IRS and we needed to contact them right away. The number to call back was 530-686-5974. The only action we took was to block that number. Today (8/23) we received another voice mail stating "final notice" before we are taken to court. this phone number to call back was 605-252-3630. Again we have not called. We are hoping that be reporting this it could be stopped.

I received multiple calls from the number 253-218-1314 which is out of Auburn, WA. When I answered the call I received a pre-recorded computer voiced message that said that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and that they need me to call them immediately. I called the number the first time and it went to voicemail. I called a second time and spoke to man with a heavy Hindi accent. He told me that he works for the IRS and that I owed them over 5,000 in tax money from the year 2010 - 2016 and there was a miscalculation. I then asked him to verify my social security number and he said that he couldn't do that and hung up. I looked up the number and found that this is a telecommunications company called Level 3 Communications and they are masquerading as the IRS. What they are doing is considered fraud and is illegal. If you get a call from the company - do not call them back. It is a MAJOR SCAM.
