Booked a hotel room but at no time did I realize I was booking on a third party. Even my e-mailed receipt doesn't have a logo or business name attached. I checked into hotel and was told at that point that I booked through a third party. O found out that The hotel pool was out of order for 6 months upon arrival (so they say) and let me know that I could only have cancelled except that I had booked through the third party. I called the third party and was given the run around and told they would look into refunding me. I paid $100 over the actual hotel's rate so I was asking for that refunded. On several phone calls they kept saying that my ticket had been opened and they would follow up. They never did. I would call back and same answer. They kept saying they would open the ticket and call me back with information. They never called me back. It's a huge scam because you of them additional money to book a room but they do not even try to assist when there is an issue. They collect the money and lie over the phone. I didn't even know what company I had booked with. I have a receipt to show proof at how much they are trying to make it look like they are the hotel when they are not.
