Pet scam

I left message on the contact me on the website list. The cat was $650. I was interested in purchasing the cat. He text me back and told me the cat was $650 plus shipping cost of $200. He wanted a $450 down payment via Apple Pay or Chime, neither of which I have. He then said I could use PayPal and gave me and email of chrisbenz780@gmail to send it to. The payment wouldn't go through so he said I should try his wife's PayPal, [email protected], The payment didn't go through again. He finally said since he gets his supplies from Walmart to get a gift card and send him a picture of the gift card numbers. I asked if there were an additional fees, his replay was no. I gave him my address and He then said he took the cat to the to be shipped and I will get a tracking number. I did receive a [email protected] that I had to pay $750 flight insurance or the cat would not be shipped. I was had a feeling something was up. I did PayPal the money to them. I got a tracking number and was told I was to receive my shipment 12/18 @8:45. Needless to say my shipment never showed up. I tried to contact the shipping company but got no answer. I knew then that I was scammed
