I received a “final notice” in my PO box from an unknown company about a mortgage for my residence that us not in my name. The letter looks not unlike a legal document and comes with an attached “allocated waiver” that looks like a check for $199.00.

JP Morgan Chase Bank is listed as their lender, the only other company information is a 1-888 number, some office hours, and a bogus “property code”

I googled the number and found a ScamPulse.com post with the an identical story; pretty confident this is a PO box scam.

In teems of vulnerability: I live in a rural area with a post office only zip code. I also got skimmed earlier this year, and I have profiles on several job boards in addition to a personal website.
