I received your application and would love interview you for the available VETERAN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT position at Graphcore.

Responsibilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY: Tracks data and source documents. Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered. Compiles, sorts and verifies data for accuracy. Contacts responsible parties or clients from other organization to resolve moderately complex questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.

I chatted briefly with the person on the email provided, a Mrs Kathleen the hiring manger. She told me similar details and asked why they should hire me and after I answered she said was going to forward the conversation to a hiring manager to get me hired. She said I would be working from home and would need these supplies, 4 in one (fax, scanner, copier and printer), Zebra ZM400 Bar-code printer and cards, 4 drawer cabinet and office desks, HP Pavilion HDX18-1180US 18.4-Inch Laptop (2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Drive, Blu-ray Drive, Vista Premium) Peachtree Complete Accounting Software, CYMA IV for Windows Accounting Software, MYOB Business Essentials Accounting Software, QuickBooks Pro Accounting Software and a Time Tracker. They were going to cut me a check and mail it to me overnight to buy all the materials and then send over the W4 information. They sent a professional looking check of $4598.54 to me that I got the next morning. When I asked for my hiring paperwork she told me I would get it with the materials that I were to purchase once I deposited the check. When I asked to get it before I depositing the check she refused and said I had to buy the material first. I asked to speak to a member of HR and she refused saying that I shouldn't have agreed to get the check if I wasn't going to deposit it. I asked for the company email or phone number of someone I could talk to and she said I was wasting her time and they were going to void the check. I asked further and she left the conversation and blocked my email from any more conversations.
