They claimed to be USPS or that a USPS package had arrived at their warehouse. They told me to reply with a text Y and the copy the link in the email and paste it into a web browser. I am not expecting a package, and I’m 100% sure they are trying to scam me. My mom is very gullible to things like this and I believe her info has been compromised. For this reason I can smell a scammer from a million miles away. I think my information may have been compromised because of my mom’s info being compromised. I think they got all our info somehow and I’m on constant high alert for things like this. The fact they said to copy the link and paste it in a browser and had no proper punctuation was a dead giveaway. I have used usps informed mail before where they update me on mail coming to the house, this looks like a 8 year old typed it. If they keep sending stuff I will continue to report it because I cannot stand scammers, I will I’ll go far out of my way to be sure they get caught!

I keep getting text messages from someone posing as the USPS saying they have a package for me but need my correct home address. I've been deleting all the messages

Through a USPS link on Facebook I placed stamps in my cart. The website had all the legitimate logos of the USPS and I proceeded with my order. I was unable to finish my transaction, but had entered my information already. I received reminder emails to complete my transaction as the USPS could not keep the items in my cart. I then proceeded to finalize my transaction. After checking my credit card website, I saw that the charge was not from USPS, but from PAY PAL from a merchant with the name *SHI LEI 4029357733.

Got a text message saying I had provided incorrect address for USPS delivery. Asked for my proper address (including phone - which I foolishly provided). Then requested paying three dollar rate delivery fee and providing credit card info. Red flag, and reporting here..

Scammer pretended to be the USPS and said my package could not be delivered due to an incomplete shipping address. They had me go to a website enter in my address, email, and card information. It had said that my card was invalid so I tried again and it still did not work. I then looked up on Google to see if there was a solutions for this to then find out that it was a scam. I cancelled my card immediately and nothing has been charged. Yet at least.

I received this text: “Order ID 7839847687 couldn't be drop due to invalid street address please follow t.ly/4U1_Zzf to rectify this for swift delivery. Thanks”

I went online and it appeared to have come from the USPS. They identified themselves as USPS and wanted 30 cents to deliver a package. That’s when I became suspicious. I did not give them my credit card.

- Gilbert, AZ, USA

I received a text message stating There is a problem with your goods during transshipment, please update the details: then a link: l.ead.me/CbR98e3s which when I clicked on it I was redirected to a website that looked like the USPS website and it stated I owed 30 cents to get a redelivery on my package, and I had to input my credit card info to get the redelivery. I stopped the mail lady and asked her if it was legitimate and she said no, they would never asked for credit card or send me a text. She said they would leave a note in the mailbox. Also there was a tracking number for the USPS fake site but it said I had to pay for the tracking number to work. The link to me to this site ddmetonr.dynnamn.ru

- San Diego, CA, USA

Asked for name, address, phone number, and then credit card info for 'redelivery' fees
