A person contacted me on Facebook Marketplace regarding an item I had for sale. It would not let me contact the person back directly unless I reached out to them via text. So I did. I said I had someone else looking to buy the chair, but I’d let them know if it became available. They started saying they wanted me to authenticate the post and that they would send me a 6 digit code, they were ready to buy the chair. They were becoming aggressive and insisted I give them the code they sent me, told me not to worry, etc etc over and over again which I refused to send them and then I blocked them because it freaked me out.

Ordered items on Facebook back in October. After 3 weeks emailed them and they said it was in transit. Waited then they said it was at my post office , it wasn’t. Then they sent me a UPS email that looked real and the delay was from wrong address on label and to fill the form out. They asked me for my SS number, CC number and I knew it was a scam. I still have my gotten my items

We were purchasing an Airedale puppy, cost to Mr Wharmby was $800, paid in 2 installments, $500 deposit paid via Venmo, $300 paid via Zelle (Venmo was not working)

Puppy was being delivered, he said with a nanny but then we got tracking information for Freight Ways USPS. We got a text from them that they needed $1200 for puppy insurance and it would be refunded on safe delivery. Then they texted that they needed $600 for a temperature controlled crate to keep the puppy safe and warm, both paid with Apple Pay. And today we got a request for $2500 for city and other permits. We did not pay that. We notified Mr Wharmby and he asked that we please pay it to rescue the puppy. We declined.

Hello, I act as the accountant for ******** ********* *********, Phone: ************ Address:

***** ****** ******* ********* ** ***** 07/21/23 we got a call from a Mr. ** ******** stating that his card was charged $176.00 and that under the description for the charge on his bank statement it stated "Buy What You Need" followed by our phone number and our address. ** has never been a customer of ours and we have never spoken to him prior to this. We told him to dispute with his bank as we did not make this charge. 07/24/23 we got a call from a Ms. ****** ******, who recited a similar story. Upon review of her statement she noticed a $99.00 charge with the description "Buy What You Need" also followed by our phone number and business address. Again, ****** is not a customer of ours and never has been. We told her to dispute with her bank. 07/25/23 we got a call from a Mr. ******** ****** who again told us a similar story. $179.00 was charged to his account under the description "Buy What You Need" with our phone number and address. ******** has never been a customer of ours and this was my very first time speaking to him. After being on the phone with ******** for some time, he provided me with some very important details.

1. The charge on his card traces back to a webiste under the name www.Winilly.com

2. This company Winilly is setup under our address and phone number as well as an email with the owner's name ([email protected])

3.This spoof company Winilly could be using our address, phone number, and owner's name so that when people like ******** have a question about credit card charges on their account, they are led astray

Please note we use Quickbooks when we handle credit card Charges for our customers. We have reached out to them already to see if somehow someone may have used our Company Information to setup a merchant deposit account with our address and phone number. Quickbooks team did their research but found that we are the only ones setup under our EIN. I also asked the Quickbooks team to see if they could see the charges to **, ******, and ******** but they found none of these charges on record.

All of this has previously been sent to the FTC. I filed a Consumer Report #********* on 07/25/23 explaining everything above. We have not received any more phone calls from people claiming that they were charged on their card (and it led back to our business) however, the website is still up and running on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/people/Winilly/*********610669/?sk=photos).

We have filed numerous fraud reports with Facebook to try to get this account shut down but nothing seems to be getting fixed or addressed. Again, since 07/25/23 no one has called us claiming they were charged however the account is still up and operational.

Bought a cocker spaniel puppy from a breeder on Facebook. She had thousands of followers and great reviews. She was rehoming some of her puppies. She said she had a legitimate carrier to deliver the puppy. I also paid to have puppy delivered. I didn’t think it was a lot of money, and I questioned her about it, but she said that that was the amount. So she started out taking the puppy to the carrier and I was supposed to get the puppy the same day. The first thing that was asked was money for a special carrier because the puppy was so young and it needed air. So we had to get money card from Walmart to pay for that because they would not take any credit cards so we paid that then they said the money card had been Stolen because the card did not work and I was supposed to take it back to Walmart and get a new one and if I didn’t then the puppy wasn’t gonna come so I went back to Walmart talk to them they told me that the money card was used at a Barnes & Noble And everything was used on the money card. So I told the carrier this and they said I need you to purchase another one and I kept arguing that I didn’t want to and I told Brenda at the time because I was talking to the breeder and carrier at the same time by text That it was time for the breeder to take the puppy back and resell it and give me my money back while she told me that it was my puppy now and I had to take care of it and if I was not going to give them the money that I would be charged with abandonment . So we purchased another card. And it was OK so then things went along and they needed more cards this time they decided they wanted visa gift card. They wanted the gift card because the first money card was stolen so we gave them gift card. Everything went OK then they decided I needed to purchase a permit to bring the puppy into Alabama. So then we had to have more gift cards and money cards for that. Or I was not going to get the puppy so we did that they got the puppy in supposedly Alabama and they said that it was going to be delivered that day. No puppy I started texting and asking where the puppy was because we waited until about 10 11 o’clock at night. No answer next day. I get another text from the carrier saying that we needed to pay for the food and the and the nanny for the puppy because at that time it was about a week. Or we were not going to get the puppy. So then again, my husband and I kept talking to the breeder and telling her she needed to get that puppy back and take it back and we didn’t want it and we wanted our money back she continued to tell us that if we paid all this money, we would get it back from the carrier as soon as we got the puppy . She pushed and she pushed telling us that we needed to pay that money or we were going to be charged with a abandonment. My husband and I at this time been so mad, but we figured the puppy was in Alabama if we paid the last amount of money, we would be able to get the puppy here and it would be over with. So we paid the last amount of money , they took the money and got nothing. All this time I was telling the breeder that she needed to get the puppy back and sell it she would not do it. She kept telling me pay the money, pay the money, pay the money and she was really pushing on paying the money . My husband and I were getting furious at this point in time and told her she needed to do something we wanted our puppy. So she decides she’s going back to the carrier to find out what’s going on. What she finds is the person that was working at the carrier was scamming us supposedly and the puppy was still at the carrier. She said this employee was let loose because of stuff that went on at the carrier. She found out the puppy was still at the carrier. We talked she decided she was going to take and get the puppy back . So she sent me pictures of the puppy that she finally got back. The pictures that she sent me were pictures that I can find on Facebook and I did. She also sent me a picture because I said I wanted a picture of the puppy, and a newspaper article with the date of the newspaper on it corresponding with the date of that day the picture she sent was an old picture and she put a date on it and on a piece of paper. My husband and I knew that that was not a real real picture of the puppy. We told her that we told her that she’s always a scammer. We told everything that we could think of to her and told her we did not want that puppy , she told me that the puppy was mine and I had to do something about it. All along I had talked to AKC because she said the puppy was AKC registered. They had never heard of her and they said there was no AKC registered breeders in Maryland. We told her that we had talked to AKC and they said they had never heard of her. She ignored all that. AKC said there was no puppy registered in my name or her name so I kept telling her take the puppy back we did not want it. She kept telling me it was mine. So we went to the local police department and they are looking into this. She is supposed to have had the puppy , I told her to resell it on her Facebook site. The puppy was there and she was trying to sell it. I have blocked her numbers and the carrier numbers so they can’t get a hold of me I thought. I thought it was over with done with but a couple days ago I get a text from some man that is supposed to be new at the carrier and he said that he was looking over paperwork and found a puppy there at the carrier that’s been there a long time. I ignored the text and yesterday he started trying to call me so I have had nothing to do with him at all or the breeder. This has been a nightmare for me and my husband.

They advertised a great sale on cashmere sweaters. I ordered. They responded with an order and shipping number.

Purchase for product was made on 11/20/2023 - receipt was sent via email detailing the purchase items with photos. In the FB add the statement of shipping fulfillment and origination was US, there was no indication of international fulfillment until I received my credit card statement. The transaction shows a Singapore company, I then finally received notification of shipping with tracking number to https://t.17track.net/en showing warehouse in Shenzhen and began to become even more disheartened as to anticipation of never receiving items. I gave a greater portion of grace knowing it to be the busy holiday season, when I received notice of delivery on 24Dec I was delighted. I also knew it can take a few days in the USPS system to reach my personal destination, I inquired several times about receipt from my local Postal center as well as the complex Admin office if received, to my great disappointment there has been no package received and no actual USPS tracking detail other than the couriers. Within the tracking there is an option to view where your package is located and it did show to be in the city I live in but a few miles away. I have made multiple inquires to receive the actual proof of delivery and location dropped at to no avail and continual run around with repeated claims of delivered and not their fault. I have saved and can provide all communication strand via emails if desired.

$brebell0 is the CashApp username that they used. They were selling an egg chair on Facebook marketplace and the address they gave me did not exist and when I tried to google the company a different address came up that was also made up: 8106 Floyd St NE, Covington, GA 30014. I drove from Atlanta to Covington and niether of the addresses were real buildings.

They seemed real and even offered to deliever the product and offered me a two for one deal, which I thought no scammer would do since they didn't ask me for more money after contacting me, but I never recieved the product and when they claimed they were delievering the chair, they stopped reponding to my messages.
