***** ***********, a classmate from high school, on Facebook, asked me if I received a cash refund that Fox reported last week on Social Administration Office of Acquisition? Grant monies can be claimed by going to Facebook website: www.facebook.com/100090270157940/. The site: Agent Phillips Scott, government organization.

Page # 109459378320781 created 2-6-22. The agent asked for name, addr, gender, age, occupation, phone #, rent/own,, monthly income. GAVE info w/o providing my PIC and Driver's License, per request. Comments were made by way of Paulo and the linked agent. Idea was to receive cash or check when UPS delivers monies. Delivery cost $2,000.00. Supposedly, the grant program was thru Publishers Clearing House partnership Contracts for Health. Wrote Paulo about too much monies to pay. I thought I would contribute $250, he would pay $500. Pressure to trust them. Felt a little threatened by worded comment from Paulo. Agent said I would receive $90,000.00. I said that I would think about it.

The item pictured in the online Facebook advertisement is described as a 6 X Gus crease black hat. What i got was a cheap made crushed hat in a small box. When i complained they offered $10 and instructions on how to reshape the hat. They refused to have it returned and ignored my request for refund.

I ordered a product from the Happy Shop store on Facebook. The product arrived and the size was nowhere near American sizes, and the product quality was incredibly poor. I attempted to return it, and realized there was no order confirmation sent, and there was no order info in the packaging. I did find an email address in the package and they did reply promptly. However, their return policy is only 7 days ( I was now on day 2) but they told me it didn't make sense to return it is I'd have to pay the return shipping to Asia. (Probably China!?) They offered to refund me 10% only of the amount of the purchase. They clearly know US customers will not be happy with the product, and why they don't provide for a local return or a reduced shipping return that makes the shipping feasible. Their decision on my behalf confirms their scam. Further, this is only the second time I've ordered a product off a Facebook ad, but it will be the last. The first time I had a similar experience with another country. I tried to report them to Meta (Facebook) but they only allow me to say "it's a scam" but not explain the deceptive business practices of "Happy Shop," their failure to disclose these terms at the point of sale, etc...Meta clearly doesn't care about the scams that occur on its site either. These are bad faith business practices and the buyer really does need to beware.

This scammer is posing as a musical instrument store and is trying to sell a vintage Conn 10M Tenor saxophone for $1000 on a Facebook group. These instruments are worth $3000, so by offering an attractive low price, he is trying to get me to message him privately to buy from him. When I raised the issue that he was fraudulent, he blocked me, deleted his post with my comments flagging the fraud, and posted again to the group.

I ordered 2 large dog beds buy one get one free. They charged me and I never got my beds. Then they changed me again for nothing.

- Santa Rosa, CA, USA

I was replied to saying the item was for sale and was told they could not use paypal or other services because they were too young, I verified that they knew details about the item, and trusted a video on the website. I verified that the name matched the zelle account and planned to pay half now and the other half when I got a tracking number. Within 24 hours the initial ad was deleted and I have no tracking number now and no way to get my part in the mail.

I responded to a treadmill for sale on facebook. I thought this person was familiar to me as my neighbor was listed as her friend on face book, also i thought i knew her husband , as he was a contractor on a house I built. She agreed to deliver and then requested deposit of $150 which my daughter sent via Venmo. She then requested full amount and that is when i got suspicious! I even called her real husband and he said his wife’s e mail was hacked.! And she was not selling a treadmill!! He also called me to ask for copy of Venmo as his wife has been getting several calls.

This scammer has hacked my personal facebook and is still actively posting unauthorized content, pretending to be me. The account is still hacked and Facebook will not help me recover this account. I would like to report Facebook for being complicit in this scam as I've attempted to report this and other have reported this multiple time over the past week. This is an unacceptable business practice.

Ordered Little Tyke projector and storybooks. Never received package. Didn’t know it was coming from China. They gave me a bogus tracking number. Their emails have 3 different company names. They told me it was delivered and it was my problem. Then, a few days after our credit card was charged $1.100. We had to cancel credit card and get a new one. Their advertisements are all over Facebook and Instagram. I hate this would happen to someone else.

I found a posting for a 2004 scamp camper on Facebook that was posted by Anderson photography and when I reached out to Amy Anderson photography to get more details, she asked me to email her sister who was the party actually selling the camper. When I emailed the sister’s email address: [email protected] I received a lengthy response below:

Hello,

My name is Martha and I'm emailing you about 2004 16 Scamp Deluxe, which is still for sale, always kept in the garage, without any mechanical problems. The title is clear and has my name printed as owner. In excellent condition. Barely used and stored indoors. King bed, double bed, and seating areas convert into two additional twin beds. The camper has a 13.5k BTU air conditioner and a digital furnace that are both in excellent condition. 3-way refrigerator is clean and works great. Indoor/outdoor gas stove cook top set up. 6 gallon hot water heater. Power roof lift. Self storing awning. Propane tank included. Indoor sink. Microwave included. Dinette table. Indoor hot/cold spray shower. AM/FM/Aux outside speakers. Dual fan lights. Canvas and screens in excellent condition. Has a clean and clear US title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This camper was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $1,000 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell it before next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store it. Hate to sell it but it's not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. If you are interested I can send you more pics.

Thank you,

Martha Jennings !

Upon reading this lengthy and highly detailed email, I decided to forgo pursuing this opportunity. Additionally, my husband looked up comps for other scamp trailers similar to what this one was reporting and they are going for somewhere around $14,000. I believe that this is a scam as I went to the Facebook marketplace, listing it to report it and it is no longer live. The listing by Amy Anderson photography i is also based out of Oregon.

This person under the name Maria Elise claiming to work for the Goddard School, tried to sell me Taylor swift tickets. She initially posted to a Disney podcast Facebook fan page. Thanks to a search I came across a similar post on ScamPulse.com and blocked her before exchanging more information.

Ad said they were going out of business. I ordered several pieces of 14k and 10k gold. The company never sent me a confirmation or who and where to send back. When I checked my credit card it showed Soaring Hawk Trading so I disputed the charge. I finally received the packages but none of what I had ordered. I had no information on who to send it back to. In the information my credit card company sent me there was another customers information and also Chinese written on the side. They made it look like they had sent me an email to confirm and to send back if not satisfied but there was no info on who or where to send it back. None of the items were marked 14k or 10k which meant they were fake. I contacted the other customer that they listed on my information. She lives in New York and she was also scammed by them.

- South Park, PA, USA

I ordered a Halloween decoration from a Facebook ad on September 15, 2023 and it is now October 17th and I have not received the order or an updated tracking.

I have contacted customer service numerous times but to no avail.

Claims that it shipped from Romania but they never mention that in their ad.

Please help stop Facebook from using these fraudulent advertisers.

The Scammers make referrals from Facebook to a website where another person is waiting to give you information about a grant

program. The grant is for low-income help, designed to raise your standard of living. The grant is also not taxable. The person in

Facebook is fake to. They can now, setup duplicate accounts on Facebook with the same name and profile of your friends. You think

you are texting your friends and they are telling you about this grant program. Your friend gives you a website and say it is safe and

they just got money from it recently. When you get to the site, an agent is there to take an application. They ask you to select a grant

amount and pay a fee for that. (I paid $2000 for $150,000). You pay them by gift card. Next step: They tell you; you will be receiving

money in one day. But before you send the money, you need to send them funds for an Exemption Certificate so you don't have to

pay taxes. That cost you $10,999. They are increasing the scam amount. More information about the Scam This company uses

Facebook for referrals to a Grant program. The Grant is a Universal Basic Income. The name of the person collecting the funds is

Agent John Garry. He is also on Facebook. The website is https://m.me/John.garry/.120 This is where the work is done. He collects

info here but no bank info. They ask you for a tax payment of $10,999 payable through a bitcoin machine. My suspicion was raised at

this point. I pulled up two chats at once on my computer. One of the supposed classmates, and the other was the Agent at the grant

location at the website above. They were both on face book. Then I got another idea. I went back to my classmate and pulled him up

on Facebook, but not on messenger. The first two were on messenger. Now I had three chats. The classmate chats almost identical

but there were some minor differences. I called from the chat screen and said "I am going to call you, but pick up and hang-up". I got

no response on that text. I did that one from the Facebook chat. That meant the messenger chat was where the scams were being

played. It was so bad that the messenger guys were still chatting when I notified the FTC
