First they left a voice mail.

“This message is for ( ) press one to speak with press one to speak with the next available agent we received a complaint in our office naming you as a respondent it’s imperative we hear from you immediately if you desire to handle this matter voluntarily we can be reached at 855-485-4988 again that number is 855-485-4988.”

I called them back and hung up on me when I refused to give my husband’s ss number and birthdate. The person was very demanding to speak with my husband. I called back and had my husband on the other line. They hung up on me when I put them on hold, to add my husband on the line. I called back again and was told I was not willing to verify my information. The guy I spoke with was named Joel and used the phone number 971-304-0656.

I believe a Scam debt collection company trying to collect on a debt that was discharged in chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2015. They have threatened to take me to court next week and to garnish my bank account. They have called me from 2 separate numbers, and refused to give me the name of the company and address. They claim they are collecting for Santander Consumer Bank. I called the bank and they said I that account has been closed since 2014, 1 year before filing chapter 7. When you call them, they just say mediation. The 2 numbers they called me from were: 1-833-279-6688 and 1-844-351-2961

Called saying I owed a debt and they were going to take my acc. I do not have any debts in arrears. They did not specifics an acc. They sent a threatening text along with the call. They were naming Jerry Lewis as the person. They are still calling but my Verizon phone app is blocking. I am 75 and this is scary since I have good credit and do not give out info. I have PTSD
