I posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace offering Pomeranian puppies for sale. I reached out to Dani Arias's profile—located in Kansas, whereas I live in Massachusetts—and we agreed on the following arrangement: the puppy would be shipped to me first, and I would pay for it only after receiving the animal. All communication took place via WhatsApp (as a standard contact), though the seller utilized several different phone numbers for contact and payment purposes. Ultimately, the dog was never shipped; I had attempted to make the payment via Western Union.
