I attempted to purchase a miniature dachshund puppy online. I found crisspydachshund.com and send info to them. I was reach out by Luz Goines and per the breeder the puppy will be $650 including shipping. I, stupidly, sent the money via Venmo and the breeder said he would get back with me and sent me the shipping info. He sent an email saying the shipping is confirmed but I have to put in a deposit for the puppy to be ship in a thermal electronic crate which cost from $1690 to $2990. He said the shipping company will contact me to let me know. The shipping company, Happy Tail Travel, contacted me and said I have to pay for the crate rental upfront which is $1690 to $2990 and it will be refund to me once the pet got to me. At this point, my stupid mind starts working, and I started to look up the shipping info. I know I got scammed because there is no thermal electronic crate. The pet shipping company does not exist. There is a well know company with the same name, but doesn't has the "s" at the end of the word "tail". The shipping company the scammer used is Happy Tail Travel and the legit company is Happy Tails Travel. I contact the breeder and said that I didn't have the money for the crate and would like to cancel the purchase and request a refund. The assumed breeder, but scammer, said that it is none refundable. Below is the info for both the breeder scammer and shipping company scammer sent me. I know I lost the money, but it taught to be more caution from now on.
