Type of a scam Online Purchase
1st Email Scammer response:
Hello,
My name is Joanna, and I'm emailing you about the 2007 Nissan Murano SL AWD 3.5L V6, 27,781 mileage Gasoline run great. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, working perfectly. Have a clean and clear US titles on my name and there are no liens or loans on it. I bought this car for my son but he passed away too soon to enjoy it. He died in Kandahar. The car will be my gift, my gift in the memory of my son...Money is not problem,all I want is to find the right person who will love and take care of this car. You may wonder why I ask this small amount for this car. Well...the trust is that I decided to ask this amount only as a protest. This is exactly what we received as compensation after my son died serving his country. No more or less!!! The price is $1500 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell it before the 15 of the next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year. If you interested, I can send you more pics.

2nd Email response from Scammer:
The price is $1500. The car is stored in eBay Motors warehouse in Louisville MS with all documents and the bill of sale. All the paperwork are ready to be transferred to the new owners name. Right now I'm in a military base. We are training, getting ready for leaving the country. The delivery process will be managed by eBay Motors without costing you nothing. I think they will delivery the car to your home address within 2-3 working days. The car will come with clear titles and reg. I had two potential buyers: one didn't show up and the other called saying he lost the money, so I can't afford to take more days off my work for that, that is why I gave to a shipping company that will ship it to the next owner. You have 5 days to drive and inspect the car after you receive it. During all this time eBay will keep safe your money in their account. You can see the car before decide to buy it. If you are satisfied with the car and decide to keep it, you have to inform eBay about this and they will release the money to me. If the car is not as advertised and you don't want to keep it, eBay will refund you the money, no questions asked, and shipping back will be my concern. But I don't think that this will be necessary because the charger is like in the pictures and how I described it.

I did email I was interested in vehicle again but this time took quite a while for response. I then decided to check the internet as this seemed too good to be true. I found this name/email linked with other scams involving vehicles. I stopped contact with person at this time. I then received email from "Ebay Motors, Inc." as follows.

The attachment was obviously a scam which lead me to report this. The following day this person was persistent in contacting me via email asking if I was still interested and needed to know "now" if I wanted to buy. I responded with message stating, According to internet you are a scammer.....care to explain??
