i was on a hotel website making a reservation when a popup came up posing as the hotel asking if I put my email address that they would credit me $25 and I did, thinking it was the website. Then it took me to payment page. They never disclosed the total of my charges till I paid, they sent me an email, and then I noticed they charged me $191.95 of service fee. This is when I noticed I was no longer on the hotel website but was REROUTED to a third party (when the pop up to enter email to save $25 on the Mandela Hotel came up) . This is ONLY disclosed AFTER the reciept has been sent. Till then, they make you think you are dealing directly with the hotel. I have since found out this is part of the Priceline web of companies. They said if I had a complaint to email [email protected] . They will not refund my monies.

Website hijacked transaction from icaregifts.com. I attempted to log into icaregifts.com from an old confirmation email. I could not successfully login. When I attempted to purchase from icaregifts.com as a guest the internet took me to icarepackages.net. The incarepakages.net site mimics the icaregifts.com site using the same pictures and names of products. iCarepackages.net also provided a very similar order number as icaregifts.com. I am unable to reach icarepackages.net by phone or email. icaregifts.com was the entity that informed me that icarepackages.net is a fraudulent mimicking icaregifts.net.

Looked for website Mango, in Chile. Found www.mango-chile.com; everything looked ok: pictures, prices, logos, etc, but failed in payment twice. The 3rd time the payment "passed" and came the confirmation email which looked as a fraud. The tracking e-mail, with black background both of them, also had an icon of a thrilling smile. The IT dept of my company advised that this site and site www.mangonchile.com are fake.

Want to report incident using a Gmail account for spam/fraud.. Brooks Running continuously kept sending via email & text messages info on its merchandise. i wanted to purchase walking sneakers and opened the legitimate site BROOKS RUNNING; I did a search specifically for Walking (not running) sneakers, and a page appeared a line of sneakers on sale . I selected two pairs (but the original prices shown were reduced drastically). When I proceeded with online purchase I entered/hit the SHOP blue symbol and another "Brooks" page showed more info and sales, I expedited the online order and I got confirmation of purchase. order number.

However when no shipping date and in the screen page just show the word BROOKS , and I noted the charge was reflected under my bank credit card Also I got suspicious as emails provided with acknowledgement of the order and for customer queries were

strange and did not reflect any reference to" Brooks Running" Soon I wrote to those emails addreses given but no access/reply obtained..( reply: with This site can’t be reached) . Immediately I proceeded to contact Brooks Running support/Corporate, (A.W) told " that Brooks " it is is not an authorized Brooks vendor" & " fraudsters create impostor websites that appear to be by Brooks and sell Brooks products" Contacted my bank but refused to stop charge andI ha to await at least two weeks (todays the matter has been taken care by the Bank.

The fraudsters under this impostor website to appear as Brooks Running provided the following emails:

Feel Brooks Running is not protected its business and clients ; Google does not respond when I reported the "gmail" account as a fraudsters, and when the loyal customer contacts the bank it is a very long and tedious process (I asked immediately to reject the charge But the bank refused and informed that it was a pending charge and I had to await till it was charge). It gives the impression that the fraudsters / scammers are given more loyal support by the stores institutions and organizations are not to protect the honest buyer/customer/client . And allows the scammers/fraudsters ample time to proceed ..</[email protected]>
