Called me on my car phone, very professional sounding. I was quite suspicious, they verified my address, got my email address. Call dropped and someone else called me back.

Generic business name, eastern NC phone #. I gave them a card number to a very limited account, then on thinking about it later, decided toomanythingsdidnot add up. My healthcare provider verified there is no outstanding balance on my account.

I called my bank and blocked the transaction

We received a call from a gentleman that stated he was from this company and that we had won $250,000.00. He gave us conf# and a name and # of another gentleman that was supposed to be in legal that we were supposed to pay $5,000 to in order to receive our money. I explained to my fiance that this didn't sound correct but they continue to call back. I have their names and phone # if you would be interested in looking in to this. The first to call is: Mr. Michael Frank at 646-217-4795, you are then to contact a Mr. Adam Steeler at 702-997-1802 for legal claims. Could you please let us know for sure if this was a hoax-I always go by if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. I just don't want anyone else to be taken by this same group. Thank you for your time. They called back today and swear this is legit, that the money they need up front is to pay the attorney to handle the paperwork for the government for the prize money.
