These scammers pose as actual hotels and lie about being actual vendors and not third parties. They charge double for the reservations and never disclose that they are a third party. They say that they are the hotel - even when directly asked.

Called the 866 number assuming it was the direct number to the Windsor hotel. Once I checked into the hotel they shared that my room rate was $104/night... and i said that's weird I got charged $213.95. After further digging they noted that the reservation was actually made with expedia. I showed her the link that I called from https: //windsorhotelascend.guestreservations.com and she agreed that this looked legit.

Unbeknownst to me when I made a reservation for Marriot Hotel Le Meridien in NYC i was evidently redirected to another website. When I received the hotel reservation confirmation I was charged exorbitant fees which were not disclosed. I cancelled the reservation but a total of $2,156.36 was not refunded. I attempted to get the money refunded but was told I needed the hotel to waive the fee. They confirmed that the fee would be waived but when I contacted the scam hotel reservations phone number at 800-312-2000 and told them that the hotel had agreed to waive the fee, Tom, placed me on hold to ostensibly confirm the waiver. After supposedly speaking with a hotel agent he then told me my money would be refunded in 5-7 business days. Of course, it has not been. They have used various email addresses in their response including [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. I have received auto email responses that those email addresses have been "decommissioned".

I was trying to book a hotel reservation and by mistake selected this agency as they look exactly like the original hotel website and charge too much fees, need to cancel reservation and the refuse to refund my money.
