I was emailed if I could reconfirm my cell phone number by the “owner” of the company I work for. However, they tried to lie to be the owner. These people emailed my work email, making me assume it could be the owner. They then texted me to get gift cards for employees and they said I would pay, they would reimburse me back. Unfortunately, I went to a local store as asked, and they asked to get 3 gift cards worth $200 each. This moment I realized, I was being scammed. I didn’t purchase anything. I reported their email to our IT department. Please figure out who this is.
