Caller ID said Memphis - (901) 333-6864. Called it back after the initial call and got some hard to understand message that basically said no one's available
Hit 1 and got connected to a guy with an accent I could barely understand. He ultimately transferred me to Daniel (obviously a crook) with an only slightly easier to understand accent. Here's my great deal:
$79.99/mo for Internet, phone, and cable for two years. I would also get premium channels - HBO, Showtime and others - and NetFlix.
I need to call Comcast Billings to prepay the first four months ($320). I wouldn't get another bill until after that.
It's a promotion sponsored by ebay to create awareness of their eBay prepaid card. So I need to pay the $320 using an eBay card.
He rattled off the places I could buy it -
Once I buy the card, I'm to call Comcast Billings (888-274-4058), give them my confirmation code (XNF1302) and the eBay card info, and I'm set to go.
This is the first day of the promotion and if I call today, I'll also get a $100 Visa gift card.
Comcast and eBay are also partnering in this promotion to help people during the COVID-19 crisis.

Thank You.
When I explained that I felt the solicitation was a scam attempt she persisted that I owed money to Comcast. I said that I did not owe money to Comcast and that I had closed my account in December and had returned all equipment to Comcast ADN that she was attempting to scam me to obtain my credit card information which I would not divulge over the phone under any circumstances.
Your immediate attention in this matter will be appreciated. This type of scam must be dealt with immediately.
