Type of a scam Utility
in with my name on it. It would not register online, so I called the promotional Comcast number that was given to me... they immediately asked for the card number and stated it was registered and to go load the card with $480 and call back. Once I loaded the card and called back there was a voicemail... nobody available. I immediately called Comcast customer care and they stated they knew no such promotion. I called Netspend customer service again ... no idea what I was talking about. I asked to immediately block the card but they advised to pull the funds first. The available funds were only $469...granted a fee is charge for using the atm ($2.50) every transaction. I was able to retrieve $440 from the atm. Hours later , same day I received a call from the same "comcast promotional dept." I advised them that Comcast nor Netspend did not support this promotion...they immediately hung up. I called back and the agent stated that I needed to listen to him or else he will continue to call back to ask for the funds I agreed to pay. I stated .. I'm reporting this to the authorities.. and again they hung up.
