It was a nightmare. First I thought I was talking to Cody the owner. Later learned that wasn’t true. Spoke to a man called Mr Frank who finally told me the owner was a Bryan Sloan who lived in Tennessee. I tried to get my money back by contacting this Mr Sloan. Originally I was told the 8 week old puppy would arrive at my local airport having paid $700 for the puppy and $288 for delivery. Got to my local airport and waited three hours and puppy never arrived. I contacted who I thought was Cody and he said the puppy couldn’t be released until out of state transportation license and several other fees were paid through Apple Pay. Like a chump I paid several. But he kept adding new fees. So I asked to cancel everything and refund my money. Then he accused me of being cruel. And sent some video of a fully grown Shih Tzu dog as if it was my puppy waiting for me at the airport. I kept asking for a refund. Then asked the owner to call me. Mr Frank was supposedly a delivery person so he called and I demanded the owner call me and got his name. This was the Bryan Sloan fellow. He never refunded me a penny. I contacted my bank where my Apple Pay was connected and these scammers were attempting to get more money from my bank account. Don’t know how they got that but they stole a total of $5600.00 from my account! I filed a fraud complaint with Apple and the bank. I am hoping to be reimbursed but it’s not granteed. But at least these scammers have each been reported to the police and my bank closed my accounts and set up all new accounts to protect me further.
