Company calls asking if you purchase items for your business, then asks you to confirm your name and business name. Then shortly after you receive an invoice for Business Listing and Advertising for $648.90. When you begin to receive harassing phone calls about the payment for the outstanding invoice, they play back a recording where the cut and paste the conversation they had with you and create it so it sounds like you are agreeing to purchase this fake advertising listing for your company. They continuously call and fax with the outstanding, threatening it will be sent to collections and affect your score. If you go online and type the name of the collection agency you will come across numerous amounts of people with the exact same story, insinuating the same thing, it is a scam. The company will start off as CMpages and then you will receive collections paperwork from CCDD.
