City University of New Orleans is asking for more payments

I was enrolled at this university for phd in finance and offered a scholarship of 75% , amounting to 4K USD for 3 years self paced and they say it is all what I need to pay until I finish; but then after a month they contacted me again to pay for non- travelling certificate and US distant learning certificate which will cost around 5K for me to go through my studies cause I am not travelling to the US and a foreign national - they say it is for immigration purposes and law of which I’m doubting and have no peace to what are there demands, they seem nice but kinda weird - so I searched online and there is a lot of review that CUNO is a fake university, so I decided to cancel my enrolment … hoping they will refund the money back….

Initial contact was via Facebook. they are persuasive my contact was a guy called Josh Sunders. He has no personal FB account. They offer amazing scholarships and they first request for about $300 thn they scale-up. The scam is so complex and they have an induction and be send to a portal,

CUNO scholarship

The reps for this fake University will tell you they have President Scholarship up to 75%. First they will request Admin fee of just under $300. They are using a legitimate bank account. They will send portal details for online induction and then offer you an 80% scholarship if you pay like 50%of the tuition fee within the week.

It appears legit but UNO who they claim to be affiliated with do not know of them.
