SAME PERSON TRIED TO SCAM ME!

The fraud stated they received my Indeed application. I received a text message from someone who said the company (Beam Therapeutics) was interested in hiring me. They encourage me to download the Telegram app where I received text messages from a Claudia Lecuona. Where they asked a series of questions via text as stated in the previous post. I started to research their info, is where i came across this website. I called them out & told them i was going to report them. No responds! I also emailed the company Beam Therapeutics to inform them someone was using their company name to try and scam people. BE AWARE!

Claudia Lecuona SCAMMER!

I had the identical experience, difference was she was representing Beam Therapeutics, and I allowed it to go further, and I received the real check and even deposited it, then I showed them proof of depositing the check. Of course check got here on a Friday and she wanted me up bright and early on Saturday so that I could start sending money to the “approved vendors”. This is the real part of the scam, as she then started sending messages like “are you going to keep the Company money”, and about a half dozen phone calls, all through Telegram. So I ignored her, and said if the funds clear my bank, then I’ll reply, about Tuesday the funds were withdrawn, and of course it was because the check bounced. So end of story is, that I went back on Telegram told her in all kinds of fun four, and five letter words! By Wednesday morning, “she” had deleted the account, thankfully I took screenshots of the interaction, and of the profile picture “she” was using. Don’t fall for their BS scams!
Might I add, “they” will start calling you via Telegram app, but I didn’t answer their calls. I would imagine that they do this to try and scare the victim of the scam.

I was contacted via text by an individual calling herself Lynn Shirley. She said she was from CHI Health (real company being used for the scam) and directed me to download Telagram and communicate with a Claudia Lecuona for further steps. Ms. Lecuona then guided me through some steps through questions about my experience and skills. When I answered the questions she said she would communicate with me within 30min. She did and then, guess what: I was hired!! I was suspicious from the beginning since she emphasized that things had to be done quickly. Caught it on time due to my critical thinking skill. And that's the clue people: Critical Thinking!!
