Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Charles would promise my dad or me that he’d be there on a specific day and then never show up—no call, no text, no communication at all. What was initially described as a two-day job ended up dragging on for over a month and was never completed.
The people he brought to the job were constantly changing—first a partner, then a “brother,” and then a girlfriend who attempted to help with the pool screens, despite clearly having no idea how to do the work. It became evident very quickly that there was no consistency, and certainly no professionalism.
After several no-shows and broken promises, I finally called him out, expressing how unacceptable it was. His response? “I don’t f*ing care, do what you gotta do, I don’t have time for this bullst,” and then he hung up on me.
This experience left my father with unfinished work, out of pocket, and deeply frustrated. I have all the texts and calls to support every part of this review.
When you try to look up his business, it is no where to be found, nor registered as a legitimate business, ANYWHERE.
I do not recommend hiring Charles for any handyman work—unless you’re okay with poor communication, wasted money, and incomplete or poorly done projects.
