My mother was contacted by a "celebrity" through a Facebook page a month and a half ago. This person insisted on communicating with her through Telegram. This person also FaceTimed with her, and my mother believes this person to be the celebrity based on that. This person has invited her to a private, in-person meeting with them in July at a FanExpo event. They initially claimed it would be free. Since then they requested $2700. They asked that she pay in cryptocurrency or bank ACH.
