MODERN DAY WHITE COLLAR CYBER CRIMES MUST BE STOPPED... this is absolute lunacracy! after reading all these peoples experiences with being scammed by CCI*Hotel Reservations I am wondering how can they possibly be in business still. They ripped me off for about $100 a month ago with pretty much the exact same story as everyone else, thought I was on the hotels website obviously clicked on a pop up from a 3rd party site that google allows and got overcharged. so my question is why is google still allowing this to go on, why hasn't the BBB shut them down and last why don't we all band together and start the process of a class action law suite against these criminal [censored]. I don't know how that is done but if anyone else has some insight that would be helpful.

Victim location 59901
Money stolen: $238.94
Scammer: CCI hotel reservations
Online site: Motel.com
Representing: Super 8 Motel

I went on motel.com somehow got involved with cci when I thought I was dealing with Super 8. Booked 3 nights at 53.55 but was billed $238.94. email confirmation broke out additional as $72.29 tax recovery plus $6 for 00. Resort tax is only 10%.

Went to super 8 to try to straighten it out. They said they couldn't do anything because it wasn't booked through them.

When I contacted CCI they said they couldn't do anything because super 8's policy was 'no refunds'.

I booked a hotel room at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, British Columbia thinking it was through Booking.com after receiving a confirmation email from Booking.com. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I had to cancel my reservation and all was confirmed canceled by the hotel and Booking.com and finds would be credited back to my original account. Three months went by and I noticed the refund had not been added back to my form of payment. I noticed the *CCI Hotel Reservation listing on my statement for the original charge. Knowing that Booking.com does partner up at time with third party businesses for cheaper deals I figured it still would have been a part of the Booking.com reservation system. Longer story shorter, after three months of working with the Westin Bayshore (amazing help in figuring out together what was up) and Booking.com saying that the email did confirm my reservation from them but was a miscommunication (Yeah, I don't get it either) and I would have to deal with *CCI Hotel Reservations to get my money back. Even the bank for the card I used won't assist me saying that "Westin Bayshore has already refunded my money and there is nothing they can do". *CCI Hotel Reservations needs to be stopped in utilizing other websites for "Cover" and those websites affected need to protect their clients. I am no longer endorsing Booking.com as they were no help in trying to recover funds for me and they kept putting off my concerns as well by not clearly answering my questions with templated responses. In my opinion, they are working together and do not care about their own customer service. I will pay higher prices from now on at direct websites for all forthcoming hotel stays. I am also raising the concern about both businesses to my local Better Business Bureau and local news networks regarding the scamming going on with *CCI HOTEL RESERVATIONS.

Same thing happened to my wife this year. Looked up Hampton Inn and Suites on Google using her cell phone and was brought to a legitimate looking website with an 800 number. Called the 800 number and booked the reservation. When she stayed at the motel a couple of weeks later she asked for the receipt was told the reservation had been prepaid through a third-party booking after she had already been told by the person who took the reservation that she was speaking directly to a Hampton Inn representative! When she asked what the standard rate was she was told it was $89 but had been charged $140 which included a service fee! I called our credit card company and disputed the charges. The credit card company customer service representative was very polite and helpful and she said not to pay the charge on my current credit card statement and that it would be investigated. CCI can go to hell when they spoof a website, provide an 800 number which connects the caller to person who falsely claims to be a representative of the hotel chain you are trying to contact. Google is a large and extremely profitable company and in my humble opinion they have a financial resources and the moral and legal obligation to root out this kind of fraud.

They have a web site that looks like you are booking directly with the hotel then they charge a 20% booking fee. A $100 per night room cost me ended up costing me $150 per night. They said it was a "estimated" recovery fee. WTF is a Recovery fee anyway and why do they charge you up front if it's estimated? They could not even tell me when I called the customer service number. Why does Hilton allow them to use www.hilton.com for such a scam?

This company masks itself online as the actual hotel. They then book your room that doesn't exist and charge your card leaving you unable to cancel.

- Pensacola, FL, USA

Went online to Holiday Inn web sight, clicked on it, did not notice I was directer to a popup sight for CCI* Hotel Reservations (855-707-6654) TX. Had to spell the name of the city I wanted to stay in three times (Mooresville, NC). I was told I had a room, gave them my credit card number, within 15 minuted went into the Holiday Inn in Mooresville and learned they had booked me in Raleigh, NC about 150 miles from Mooresville. I called CCI, they would not cancel the wrong reservation or let me talk with a supervisor.I ended up losing $124.17. I also learned they used the name gataroom.com with a merchant number 24795. My Discover card company did not help me with the mistake the booking company made even after calling them before the charge was sent to them.
